Put together a story idea and developed characters, and posted the starter, but that's as far as we got. I'm looking for someone to take on the role of the young sorceress looking to find the Jewel itself. Her character remains undeveloped and you can feel free to create her however you like. The starter can easily be modified to accommodate any modifications a potential writing partner would like to see made to it.

The war has left all the nations that bordered the great Stygian desert impoverished and near the point of self destruction. As they begin to slowly and painstakingly rebuild a young wizard/sorceress believes she has discovered the location of the fabled Jewel of Khalil, an ancient magical stone lost over a millennia ago. Determined to find it and use it to restore her people to their former glory she sets off to find it.
In the desert a young dervish, part of a Bedouin tribe receives a vision that someone has discovered the location of the tomb of Khalil and is determined to find the stone. Her people has sworn to keep the stone's secrets safe and hidden from the world of men. The vision told her to help the stranger find the stone, but rather than let her take it, she is to steal it and destroy it, for the stone is a harbinger of evil, meant to initiate the end of days.
