Interest Check: The Resort
---I have posted a set of rules below, please read before replying.
---The Cloud-Nine Resort caters only to the rich and famous, or infamous, as the case may be. The island is located in international waters and the island's owner is a diplomat with ties around the world. One simply cannot just buy a ticket to this island paradise. There are two ways to make it to the island, assuming you're not a local. You're recruited to work at the Resort, or you know someone who knows someone. If you have the money, and a lot of it, you can buy your way onto the island. Or, you might receive an invite from some politician or world leader, or boss of an international corporation or a high ranking member of an organized crime organization.
What happens at Cloud-Nine stays at Cloud-Nine. It's well known for its sex, drugs and gambling. What it might not be as well known for is the backdoor dealings that go on, from arms deals to money laundering or drug smuggling operations, what have you. So long as you don't break the Resort Rules, anything goes.

Staff: Anything from Concierge Staff (bell boys, chambermaids, cooks and standard concierges), Administration Staff (reception, clerical), Entertainers (singers, musicians, dancers), Casino and Bar Staff (waiters/waitresses, bartenders, dealers), Spa Staff (masseuses), Animation Team (including outdoor activities staff), etc…
Guests: Rich Folk (actors, athletes, entertainers, investors, etc…), Politicians, High-Ranking Organized Crime People, Diplomats, Arms Dealers, etc…
---Looking to see if people would be interested in a game like this. The story takes place around a beautiful paradise resort in the Caribbean. This resort truly is a paradise with every amenity you could imagine and the staff members are trained to perform any task you could desire.
I have a few story ideas I'd like to thrown in and I welcome any player to bring their own. It could be intrigue, spying or just someone looking for love. Player ideas are welcome. If you'd like to see something specific happen to YC let me know and we can discuss how to make it happen. If anyone wants to play and would be interested in helping with NPCs, moving the story along and moderating, please indicate so as well.
Please Note: If there is interest, eventually I will provide a fuller character sheet. I know players are eager to work on characters, so if you're interested and want to submit a character right away, use this very simplified sheet for the time being:

RULES Please Read. If following this small list of rules would be a problem for you, might be best to pass.
1-This is a paragraph game, aiming for a 2 paragraph minimum though in certain circumstances 1 would be acceptable (No 1 or 2 liners). On the other end of the scale I would prefer not to see any posts larger than 3 paragraphs except for introductory posts or posts describing something important. (GM/Mod posts will also follow these guidelines though they get more leeway, also 2 sentences do not make a paragraph.)
2- Posting Order. There will be a strict posting order. If a player is delayed permission can be given to skip that player, but it must be approved by a GM/Mod. Separate rules will be in place for players who simply stop posting and how players should proceed.
3-Posting Frequency… Many players have busy lives, myself included. I would like to see a post every other day at the least during the week. If you can't post at all during the weekends that's fine as well. If everyone can post daily that would be great, but every other day or even third day would certainly be fine with me. If you're going to be unable to post for more than a couple days, please just let us know in the OOC or PM the GM/nod.
4- No Godmodding or physical manipulation of another character, also do not assume to know how another character will react to something your character does or says. Even if a player agrees, it must be approved by a GM/Mod. No violence between characters unless approved by a GM/Mod. Be respectful.
5- Time Jumps. This game will have occasional time jumps. Usually a heads up will be given a few days to a week in advance to let everyone know when the time jump will take place. Once the time jump has taken place, players will have a few days to finish up scenes and get caught up.
6- NPCs. There will be several important NPCs, only a GM/Mod can play these. There will be lesser named NPCs that players can use to help their character move forward from time to time. These NPCs can be shared. The story will also have unnamed NPCs that characters can post and move within reasons. If a player had a storyline idea that requires an NPC, please discuss the idea with a mod/GM.
7- Please try to use proper grammar and vocabulary. The occasionally typo or grammatical error is fine and expected, but if your posts read like a jigsaw puzzle that leaves the reader requiring a translator, please move on.
8- Third person only please
9- If any disagreement comes up, the GM/Mods will have final word. Be respectful.
10- Be respectful.
11- Smut is allowed, even encouraged.
12- GM/Mods reserve the right to add/change rules at any time.
