Personality: Hodrick has little sense of individuality but that's not to say he doesn't have opinions or believes, he was just molded to be some one that functions best by taking orders. He's quiet and loyal, never letting his emotions get the best of him unless he suffers greatly, he loves math and numbers and he counts to relax. He won't let anyone get close to him without being extremely cautious and will be cold to people so the stay away.

Backstory: Hodrick grew up in a secluded country waterlocked by the ocean, the rulers disconnected them from the outside world for hundreds of years without any form of contact. Due to the constant fights over territory the land was desecrated and in ruins, the poor never got anything other than scraps and the the wealthy kept their money and power to themselves.
One day while Hodrick was still a young child one of the royal families went around taking young boys to be used as soldiers, Hodrick was picked up off the streets and taken away from his mother and forced to fight the other children. After a bloody free for all the scarred Hodrick and a couple dozen other boys were taken into training, the rich people liked to hold tournaments with the boys and forced them to fight to the death with each other. Refusing to get swallowed up by despair Hodrick fought and killed many of his friends, he started to finish his fights by impaling his opponents cutting through their spines killing them quickly and thus earning the title of "Hodrick the Impaler" and getting a special blade made for him, one the would not break from striking bone. However every time he killed he felt less and less human, and eventually Hodrick gained the attention of the Royal family and was made their personal knight, he was to protect the young daughter of the Royal families head and make sure she was ready for her time to lead.
He grew attached to the daughter and they became like siblings bonding for a few years, but then in a terrible coup the entire royal family was murdered and the island started to all into ruins, morning the loss of his (not)sister Hodrick went into a blind rage and killed every person he could find and eventually forcing everyone to leave the island reminding the rest of the world of its existence and leaving Hodrick alone on the island waiting for whoever may find him.
