"If all we have is this imagined empty canvas of endless possibility...this potential heaven...then let it be our haven. A place of marriage between two souls desperate to feel something beyond the cruel tedium of real life. If we truly be the masters who dream these dreams then let our innermost desires fuel the adventures we create and the love that we make here, let it all unfold endlessly or for only a brief moment in time but for as long as it breathes let it devour and I will forgive you your boldness if you will be so good as to forgive me mine..." ~ Chantarelle

Time Zone: Pacific

Activity Level: Usually least once a week, sometimes more. I'll communicate if things change.

Limits: In general, none but the usual suspects (piss, shit, vomit, etc. .... ya know? The usuals!)

Preferred Genres: Romance always! Supernatural is my bread and butter but I will occasionally crave a medieval low fantasy RP as well though I am more picky with those.

Plotting Preferences: Story and character development are super important to me. I adore a good love/hate relationship and everything that goes along with it. I want complication, psychological torture and emotional upheaval, but most of all growth. I find all the planning in the world may or may not fulfil expectations when it comes down to IC play and so organic development is a must when it comes to any type of relationships in-game but especially of the romantical variety.

Preferred FC's: Actual photos only please, no animation. It just throws me out of my muse.

What Should Your RP Partners Know About You?:

I've been writing role-play for 20+ years of my life and pride myself in having grown much throughout the years. Developing my skill as a writer has been a serious endeavor for me and I've always striven for improvement and have found that in order to best aide in this pursuit of self-betterment its been crucial for me to seek out writers who's skillset matches or, more helpfully, surpasses my own. I am a multi-paragraph storyteller who puts strong effort into character development and as much as I do enjoy a good 'love at first sight' story I'd much rather a love/hate dynamic between mains. I love to explore my character's past with time jumps and I don't shy away from playing side characters when needed. Those who reach out should be aware that the stories I tell through my characters come saturated in mature and dark themes.

It should also be noted that I will never write stories where the main focus is smut. Sex of course will always make an appearance in the worlds we create together - slow burn and sexual tension is a requirement for me - but it should be treated as a cherry on top of the sundae rather than the sundae itself. Kink-wise I am - #sorrynotsorry to the majority who read this - a rather vanilla ice cream type of girl. Rough sex? Yes, please! But I'm not into anal or excessive fluid/secretion descriptions. Depending on which character or scene is being played out, what psychological or emotional turmoil is currently happening within their inner worlds, kinks may change as my girls are as varied as they should be for realisms sake.

And now...my epic request...

This story is one that has been in development for some time. It has come to be a large undertaking as well as a big ask, no doubt. It centers on two mains (MC and Yours) a King and Queen of disparate warring Kingdoms coming together by means of an alliance of marriage to end a bloody seven-year war. It features a cast of characters played by each of us, each one finding a counterpart somewhere in the others ensemble. The story's primary challenge centers on the battle of egos and misunderstandings of our rulers and the struggles of blending such wildly different countries. The Setting takes place in the world of Sien on two (known) continents. My characters eastern kingdom of Ellesmere which sits as capital of Erowyn can be described as structured and orthodox. The West's kingdom (YC's kingdom) should be in contrast to this. There is also the Southern kingdom which has yet to be developed and I could use some collaboration to help build at some point. The Northern Kingdom (the Northern Threat) however lies across the ocean and holds much ripeness for future plotting because there is an evil rumored to be brewing there. The threat of the Northern Kingdom holds the key in bringing our stubborn monarchs and their subsequent kingdoms together. Magic will be present but somewhat of a rarity. In Ellesmere's case, unless a person is aware of its existence it would be hard to notice it and not place it under the category of good or evil. So for Emrafah and her power of prophecy, because she believes in God and that it is Him who has given her this power she would not readily see or be looking for magic in the world, nor would she be cultivating or delving into any further abilities she could otherwise have or develop. I will leave it up to you to dictate the Wests viewpoint on magic, though when it comes to the North that is where we can eventually incorporate a high level of magic, especially when "the One" enters the picture. If at all interested please PM.

Princess Emrafah Hyzenthlay (FC: Adriana Lima) began having visions of her parents untimely death years before the event actually occurred. They had gotten so bad that at one point she eventually stopped eating (a stress-induced habit that would haunt her periodically through the years) and was sent to her fathers old priest, an older man named Tomas Marley (FC: Anthony Stewart Head). While with him in his small parish Emrafah would suffer a vision of fire, images of flames and the Father's parish engulfed in an inferno. Not only had Emrafah seen the event but she'd also seen the arsonist himself, and warned Father Marley of him. Tomas however, being a cautious man took this warning with a grain of salt but nonetheless kept a close eye on the accused who was new to the flock and often joined the congregation in gathering for worship. It would in the end come about that one night while heading back to his room after tending to one of the Princesses night terrors, a glow would arise, spotted out of the corner of the priests eye. A torch moving outside around the back of the church. No doubt, if not for some quick and decisive action on Tomas’ part Emrafah’s vision would have found its fulfillment that night. It was this event and others like it that would cause Tomas to become an irredeemable believer in the Princess's ability and through the course of her stay a friendship would slowly take shape. But while Emrafah would come to see Tomas as a trusted friend and father figure (especially after her parents deaths), the unthinkable happened, a thing that should not ever happen under Gods watch. Father Tomas Marley fell in complete and utterly abhorrent love with the young heir apparent and in doing so lost all of his senses. The priest would set about changing the course of the young royals life by creating a lie so great that he knew he'd be setting himself up for damnation if he dared to tell it. But if he could not take her for his due to his vow to the cloth he would make sure that no man ever would.

Tomas would begin teaching the Princess - who had privileged him to call her by the name only her father called her by, Emra - from the “book of Yohm”, a sudden-found tome of scripture, a lie written by his own hand all in a scheme to convince the Princess that she was touched by God, that she was in fact not cursed but blessed and that in order to keep her gift of prophecy she would have to adhere to a life of purity, a commitment Tomas swore to forever help her live up to.

Years later, Tomas was now once again a permanent fixture within Gaillard Palace. One of the last memories of his past life within the castle flooded back to him the moment he stepped foot across the threshold...

A younger Tomas, the King's Priest and close spiritual adviser until he caught him with a woman other than his pregnant Queen. “The scriptures are clear your majesty, they do not split hairs on this topic, adultery is a sin and you have committed it." Father Marly had admonished with all the lack of fear granted him by his sovereign who usually appreciated his spiritual candor, yet that night was different somehow and Tomas had not been ready for his defensiveness. “What do you know of love, Tomas?! What will you ever know if it?! If you knew even a grain of what it was you turn your nose up at...to love a woman so absolutely I swear to you...you would jeopardize your eternal souls stay in heaven just to look upon her...just to have her standing near you...you would risk it all!” 'Twas a memory that struck harder than steel now.

Life proceeded as uneventful in Ellesmere up until the night of the Northern Three Feast. There had always been rumors of the happenings beyond the sea as well as a number of refugees come seeking protection in Erowyn and in exchange for information their protection would always be secured. The Northern Three were the title given to a Northern noble, an informant for Ellesmere stationed in the North with his two children. They had for years played the dangerous game of sending dispatches back to Ellesmere alerting the King to the events within the foreign kingdoms court where forever an eminent revolution had been whispered about, a revolution that when did finally come began with the execution of all loyal nobility to the current northern crown. It was only the trusting relationship her father had developed with the King of Ellesmere that he, his daughter, Hildie and her brother escaped the slaughter by ship to start a new life as reward for their brave service. In celebration, as official and very special guests to the king and Queen, a feast was prepared to welcome the Northern three to Ellesmere and it was there where Hildie’s brother poisoned the casks of wine both King and Queen drank from and watched in quiet as they drank deep. His later proud gallows confession revealing that he had taken the dark pledge and dedicated his life’s purpose to the Northern Red Guilds’s revolution and to "the One" it paved the way for. Swiftly, after the deaths of both Monarchs, the Council of Twelve gathered. The public execution of the guilty young man was supposed to be followed by the public execution of his sister and their father as well and it would have been if not for the heir apparent who spared both father and daughter as she believed in their innocence by ignorance, and could not watch an injustice of such magnitude take place. Hildie became Emrafah’s handmaiden on that very day as she could feel the girls allegiance to her having spared both hers and her fathers life.

After the death of her parents, and her proceeding coronation, Emrafah was thrust into a new world where every step she made was scrutinized and every misstep a sign of failure before she had even begun. Young though she was, she carried within her a stoicism and resilience that effortlessly expressed through her steady gaze and royal posture. She at least looked the part of a sage-like and wise Queen even if behind the scenes she relied heavily on Tomas and Hildie for emotional support. Tomas, her father-like advisor and spiritual counselor and Hildie her handmaid who, though being roughly the same age as Emrafah she looked at as something akin to a daughter. They, including Tomas' acolyte, Walter Ralph, or Wally (FC: Will Poulter) as he was affectionately known. These were the Queens trusted circle then, and she viewed them both as companions sent by God to comfort her on her journey to fulfill her purpose as a blessing and steward to her people. Her path laid established before her, she knew she would push aside all thoughts of romanticism prone to her gender and silly youth and would never allow herself to fall in love. She would remain a virgin. Her only children, the populace of Ellesmere.

Upon official holy proclamation, she immediately set to work on making changes to how things were governed. Firstly, she would abolish the practice of slavery which had been a system in practice since before her fathers and his fathers time. Second, she concentrated on education and tax reform and expanded her army freshly made up of newly recruited free men which came to make a phenomenal difference in morale in the ongoing seven-year war with the West but did nothing to allay the "Council of Twelves" concerns.

Spokesperson for and Member of the Council of Twelve, Pontiff Albert Crawley (FC: John Lithgow) was the first to raise concerns about the new Queen's overly eager maneuvers and growing popularity that threatened to shake the very foundation the council had stood on for nearly a eight decades. Emrafah’s grandfather had originally assembled the Council to be the “people’s voice” but gradually it had devolved into being the voice strictly for the nobility. They had thought a young Queen would be easily controlled but once she began travelling throughout the kingdom, “blessing” the peasantry with her ever present and pesky priest by her side that is when they knew they had to act and act fast.

As the war with the West continued to rage as it had for years, these new waged laborer’s that replaced the slave class brought resentment to the nobility and to the Council itself and it was also heard by a spy within the Queens inner circle (namely, Wally) that the young Queen had no intention of marrying or bearing any heir to the throne and it was this bit of information that finally forced the council's hand. With this information it was then a simple thing to turn the Captain of the Royal Guard, Edric Delvaney (FC: Henry Cavill). The coup happened swiftly one night, with a suddenness and force that gave no time for preparation on the doomed Queen or her allies part. Stolen away, Emrafah would find herself under lock and key within her summer palace (Chartris) far away from public eye. It was there that she was kept under duress for months until she finally agreed to an arranged marriage brokered by the council which would officially end the long, stubborn war.

(Further note on Wally (Walter Ralph)...The boy has an overall good soul, a young man who has the potential for uprightness if only he can live his life beyond Crawley’s shadow as his proximity to such evil will eventually, it is feared by Tomas, destroy him. The boy comes from Adyna, a mid-sized farming town famous for the wine it makes and the beef it produces. A myth surrounding its secret has always been that the townspeople watered the grass the cows fed upon with the wine they created, making for a more tender and sweet tasting meat, another variation of the myth claims that they let the cows drink directly from the vats until they are ripe with drunkenness and only then in an inebriated state are they slaughtered. No matter which is true (if either) Adyna beef is the only beef ever served at Gaillard Castle and it’s always a court favorite.)

Not all in the Kingdom however were happy with this peace treaty by marriage. Commander General Aldred Fletcher (FC: Tom Hardy) being one of the more outspoken critics. Fletcher, born to a whore murdered by an old crone to syphon her youth off for herself, the young boy was just seven when the witch took him in under her wing. Fletcher was subjected to worse conditions than any he would have experienced in a brothel. A member of a mixed coven that worshipped the "dark one", Marat. Under the coven Fletcher was forced to do many unspeakable things, the last of which convinced him to escape. Being raised around magic, he developed what he called a “nose” for it. He could smell its presence. Fletcher was 17 when he fled the North to Ellesmere. Once there he quickly got into trouble and landed himself in the Kings army as a conscripted soldier which as it turned out, suited him quite nicely. He gradually climbed the ranks, feeding off the violence and bloodshed as if it were milk and honey. He served the crown as Commander General five years prior to the Great seven-year War, never having lost a battle, a feat that carried with it great notoriety as well as resentment from other nations. Stories of the Commander General now have been circulating for years amongst the young men in Erywon traveling as far as Wally's hometown of Adyna as well as making the rounds in the courts of Gaillard where strangely enough even the noble maidens would swoon as they turned these tales of heroics and feats of masculinity - stories to inspire boys to become men - into gossip. The last thing Aldred Fletcher ever expected was to be thought of as a celebrity, let alone hero. It was as dumbfounding to him as it was absured and amusing.

The East (I will leave the West in your hands)

Erowyn is known to some as “the land of sanctuary” where ancient, nomadic peoples fell in love and their wanderings ended. It is a vast land which boasts coasts on two oceans, the Sondara and the Midori, as well as her prized Emerald archipelago and hard-won Isles of Sienna and Trint. Being so big it’s landscape varies drastically.

The majestic Terrin mountains are generally known as the spine of Erowyn as it’s formation stretches from north to south along its center, dipping low at points making travel and commerce convenient while cresting dramatically with summits reaching up into the clouds. It’s in these highest parts of the Terrin peaks where merikek monks have built a monastery and either pilgrim or sequester themselves to renounce the world.

The naked steppes in the East’s east are home to men known as the Wyllen (or wild one’s) who believe that it is better to live as close to nature as possible. These are the people who called Erowyn home before the great migration occurred and it has only been since Emrafah’s fathers reign that an accord has been reached with the Wyllen and Ellesmere that makes trade and overall mutually beneficial relations possible. Moreover, these people live off the land in the most truest of senses. They consist of tribes. thirteen, if we go by the councils of twelve’s numbers, though these are known to be unreliable since there are tribes that choose to live in isolation and refuse to speak to not just kingdom officials but to anyone, including other Wyllen. These hidden tribes are known as the Obscuran.

Erowyn provinces and villages are mostly found to be bordered by vast, thick forests and are never too far from a river or marshland or more often, a lake.

In the capitol city of Ellesmere, during its long winters it snows profusely and the auroras at night create a surreal and stunning view adding a magical appeal to it not found anywhere else in the East. During the spring is when the notable Amoret Gardens open to the public and in the usually mild summers the city smells like lavender and hibiscus.
