PERSONALITY

Obiapios or Obi is a young horse full of spirit and energy. It is advised to give him as much time in the air as in the field.
At times, it is difficult to keep Obi focused on a task. It may be due to his excitability or simply due to youth.
He will always greet riders “by the fence.” Due to this, he has a reputation of being friendly to humans and humanoids alike.
While he enjoys working with riders, he has a tendency to form close bonds with other winged equids. These bonds can cause him to be herd-sour, reluctant to leave his pasture buddy or stay away from his free time for too long.
Riders must take caution with Obi’s tack. He has a firm habit of chewing on all types of bits. This habit has led to him causing cuts to the inside of his mouth from broken pieces or teeth slipping while mid chew.

He is a descendent of living equine fire as seen in the color of his wings and eyes. While the equids are known to be intermixed, his lineage is almost a straight line from present to the original elemental-based horned pegasi known to the common tongue as Parrot Wings. The history of his family and upbringing is lost to history. Once he paired with riders, there was no way to record a written history of his lineage for the history books. However, all of his riders are aware his lineage is of interest due to the sharp color of his wings, horn, and eyes.
