So this is all going to be more than a little vague, setting-wise, and a large part of the reason for that is that my craving isn't so much a specific place as it is a particular flavor. In essence, I have this craving to take a character who starts off the roleplay as an underpowered, amateur nobody of a fledgling mage, and over the course of hundreds of posts, innumerable adventures and all sortsa twisty means to attain knowledge, power and shiny magical toys, grows into a magical juggernaut whose fame and legend spread across the lands, even as his personality shifts from young and hapless to experienced, aged and cunning. Naturally, these travels across the land are undertaken alongside a close companion, chosen by you, who is driven by her own goals and objectives. Your character, similarly, might start off as relatively obscure and barely competent, only to turn into a legend who strikes fear into the heart of any foe, and smites diabolic creatures at will!

Plenty of smut, adventure, violence, revenge, humor and whatever else we can cram into it! The specific circumstances in which our characters start out in, how they meet, etc, etc, are all things that can be brainstormed and discussed, and brainstorming would be an ongoing effort throughout the roleplay, as we work out things that happen to them, means by which they grow, etc. Power creep is a definite element, as we can go pretty nuts and (eventually, after MUCH time and MANY posts,) have them rise to the echelons of nigh-godly elites.

It goes without saying that this would be the longest of the long-terms, a colossal undertaking not intended for the faint of heart. It requires someone who is just as proficient and excited about worldbuilding and creating a multitude of secondary characters to go along with their main character, as the setting and people around them change regularly. Those looking to just play a single character, or stick to 'one or two' secondary NPCs over the course of the entire roleplay need not apply, nor those who just want me to make the entire sandbox myself. I am seeking, above all else, a fully collaborative effort!

In the spoiler tags I'll toss in some criteria, some of which just offer a bit more detail, others of which might function as a bit of a checklist for things that would interest me. You don't necessarily have to meet all of the criteria, but obviously the more of them you do, the more excited I'm going to be in playing with you! :3

A Different Schtick: So, sure, just having TWO Wizards looking to obtain great mystical power is certainly a possibility, but it would prove far more interesting if my partner's character has a different skillset, a different goal, and a different path to obtaining it. They might find it useful to travel together, but ultimately they're more helping each other achieve their goals, rather than just having the same goal. Your character's power could come from another source, (such as a Cleric, Shaman or Paladin,) she may be a different species, her aims may be to obtain that power for a purpose other than its own sake, etc. Perhaps she's a Paladin princess looking to eventually reclaim the throne from a usurper, (which could lead to success and then having a Kingdom to run and protect,) or a warrior seeking revenge for the death of a lover or family member, etc. The more varied the character from mine, the more opportunities we have to come up with story and smut that plays to their specific circumstances.

Setting: So if there's a particular canonical setting that is broad enough to offer lots and lots of flexibility in terms of locations, creatures, magic, etc, then by all means recommend it, but if it's one I'm not super familiar with I might end up making changes due simply to not knowing what the 'correct' answer to a given situation is. I also do have a particular flavor in mind for my Wizard-y fellow, so settings without robust and varied magic likely won't interest me. Modern settings, similarly, might not be my cup of tea. If a canonical setting is not used, then we can consider this an opportunity to world-build together and throw damn near everything into it!

Post Length: A certain variation in length is to be expected depending on circumstances; ideally posts at an absolute minimum should be around 300 words, and of course in instances where multiple characters controlled by the same player are interacting, or a scene is being carefully set, my post length can jump to around a thousand or so words. The low-end post length would certainly be typical during the smutty parts or instances of our characters just having a back-and-forth conversation.

In order to help facilitate things I might often send a private message saying 'By the way, if your character tries to pull mine along with them, mine'll go along!' in order to help things flow nicely. I may also ask 'Hey, if my character does yada yada, how would yours react?' If you reach a point where you feel you need my character's input, but feel like the thing is so minor I wouldn't be able to make a satisfying reply just in answering that ONE question, then I encourage you to ask over private message! :3

Consistent Posting: So, real life is a thing, stuff happens, I'm not going to be beating down your door or expecting posts every single day, but I'd also really rather avoid spending over a week twiddling my thumbs and wondering when a post might materialize. This can be particularly frustrating when I know that a partner is posting elsewhere, especially if posting multiple times in the same place over the course of a few days, without tossing a single bone my way; because this is a very long-term roleplay, moving at two posts per week won't get us anywhere.

Multiple Characters: Pretty much a must-have, and the ideal partner is one who doesn't mind sticking their main character on the backburner for awhile to whip up and play some important, but temporary NPC more suited to a given situation. Obviously I would be doing the same in exchange, as at times my Wizardy fellow might go off to, er, read books or some shit while your lass goes on a super duper solo adventure!!

Polyamory: So I am definitely looking for this to lean pretty hard on smut and sex, and having the opportunity to mix up the particular, er, playmates that come across for our characters would definitely add some variety, that spice of life, with super bonus points if these opportunities involve such partners as nymphs, demonesses, all that fun stuff. To be more specific, I am looking for a partner who at the very least doesn't mind providing these lewd little one-off encounters, and ideally is equally open to their character knocking boots with different partners as well. This does not preclude the idea of romance happening between our main characters, the idea is that it would be a decidedly open relationship.

While I personally prefer to play with women, for the more flexible lasses in the audience I certainly don't mind playing female sexual partners for some of these if asked! Threesomes, group sex and the like are also on the table, though not mandatory, and it is under the condition that a prospective partner matches my invested effort at different points. In other words, sure, I can certainly have your lass get fucked utterly senseless by a half dozen barbarians, but I'm deeeefinitely going to be looking for an opportunity to knock boots with a handful of voluptuous demi-goddesses somewhere down the road. If you really only want to play a single character in sexual encounters, then fine, but so will I. Tit for tat!

Kinks: I'm faaaairly open, with my 'nos' generally wandering into the bathroom play, vore and other more unusual areas. If you have any particular cravings, then by all means ask, but it's worth noting that due to the size and scope of the roleplay, we'd likely be covering a lot of different kinks, at different times, in different sexual encounters, so a list of 'nos' and an idea of whether you had anything you wanted included more often would be appreciated.

So, what am I looking for in a prospective partner's greeting? Start off by talking about yourself! :3 More specifically, rather than just saying 'Hi, how are you,' send me a greeting and then immediately include an idea as to the character you had in mind for yourself from her age, species, the nature of her class/abilities, how you see her growing over time, appearance is of course always welcome in either picture or written description form, etc. I won't slap down length requirements or anything like that, but when it comes to detail more is obviously better at getting my attention.

Some degree of commentary on the criteria I listed would also be appreciated, such as your tastes when it comes to the polyamory, kinks, willingness to play multiple characters in smutty scenarios, etc. Make me excited to get to play with you, astound me with the depths of your creativity, give me shiny eyes just like these! ---> @.@

Now, and I feel like I should specify this, I am looking to get into just one of this particular roleplay, so if I get multiple requests, I might end up asking some questions, poking at prospective partners, shaking their proverbial trees and eventually deciding who I want to go with. But I'd still be saving the messages of those I don't pick, and in the event the roleplay falls through for whatever reason- partner becomes inactive, loses interest, etc- then I would likely poke at prior applicants to see if they're interested in picking the roleplay up with me, with my character maintaining all the history he's built up until that point, but now just meeting and traveling with a new companion. Depending on how things pan out, this could happen months down the road, and if worse comes to worse and you're no longer interested, that's totally fine! :3
