Appetizer - About Me / What I'm Looking For In a Partner
My name is Augustus Finn! I absolutely adore roleplaying and always have - I grew up doing it!
My posts can range from 1,000 words to 200 words. I've never been a fan of having a word count limit on roleplays - in situations where you don't have much to say (like if the scene is fast-paced), you end up filling it with a bunch of useless fluff. My posts will always be driven by whatever is happening in the roleplay, how much scene building or development I need to do, and what I want the actual feeling of reading my post to be. Don't mistake it for a lack of ability, I've been in my fair share of *1,500 word minimum per post* roleplays. Just ain't my thing.
My writing will also be heavily character based. I usually partner perfectly with people who enjoy the world building aspect of it, because together we create a really rounded story. That being said, I can also world build, it's just not necessarily my main focus. Character development, relationships, emotions, etc. is my SHIT. I would roleplay genuinely anything as long as the characters are compelling.
So what do I want in a partner? My most important quality, if it wasn't clear in my description in myself, is that the roleplay is interesting. Give me some goofy characters. Give me imperfect characters. Give me characters thrown into super bizarre situations. Give me spins on tropes you wouldn't expect. This shit is the perfect chance to create literally everything you want. Let's use that to our advantage and have a hell of a time with it. Go crazy with your characters
Do I want to do smut? No, not really. I have a lovely boyfriend who I make love to that I quite genuinely don't feel the need for anything else. HOWEVER, I am completely okay with doing the occasional sex scene. I like to explore the full range of my characters and the way they act sexually is definitely a part of that. I just want to keep it reading like literature and not like a porn fanfiction, please. I'm also NOT going to base any characters or roleplays off of kinks... that's delving into porn territory. I ain't here for it.

I'm A Little Tied Up Right Now
Comedy exploring sex work
So I may or may not have just finished BONDiNG on Netflix and been a little bit inspired.
(I'm not going to spoil anything) I love the idea they've briefly explored in the show so far of a sex worker becoming romantic with someone who isn't involved in that world at all. I think it could be a really fun dynamic to explore.
A = the sex worker ; B = the run of the mill person (I don't care which one I play, or the genders.)
Person A could either be a fantasy cam model, a prostitute, or a mistress/master like in BONDiNG. They could meet person B in an unassuming way - like a coffee shop, a store, a park, etc. Person A might hide their secret life for fear of it being too intense for the person, and as time passes it becomes more and more difficult for Person A to tell them. Eventually, Person B would find out somehow and... the way it plays out could be up to you

What's Waiting At My Doorstep

Person A and Person B are neighbors. Person A has developed a major crush on Person B, who doesn't know they exist. Person A is way too shy to approach them, and instead begins leaving little gifts / notes on their front door step.
Sorry, The Elevator To Hell is Broken
dark comedy
Person A is a demon working in the transferring of damned human souls to hell. Person B is one such damned soul. Due to a malfunction, the trip is delayed and Person A and B spend an undetermined amount of time in purgatory together, in which they fall in love. Person A risks their eternal suffering to help Person B escape and spend eternity forever.
A Real-Life Dating Sim?

An ordinary girl is suddenly thrust into a situation where she meets four or five men in a row, each with defining physical features and character traits, and all of which seem to have developed a huge, inexplicable crush on her. While the men start of by competing, they eventually become friends and it turns into a silly, fluffy, and romantic story.
