As Rod Serling used to say, "Presented for your consideration....". And yes, I grew up watching the original run of the original Twilight Zone. And sent one of the protest letters about the cancellation of Star Trek in 1967. Now then, to the world and the characters.

==== Quick overview =====
the S.I.N. world core is actually 10 different characters who are not blood-related, but 'chosen family' who despite being very different have chosen each other as, for lack of better terms, brothers and sisters. There are seven sisters : Dr. Diane (human), Tina (goblin), Valerie (vampire), Faye (werewolf), Rosie (ghost), Holly (angel) and Lorna (witch). Plus three brothers : Jack (human), Leon (ogre) and Mitch (incubus). Diane, Tina, Mitch and Holly are married. The others are single. Valerie's biological brother Stefano is Diane's husband. Tina (Jack's ex) married Pierre (dwarf). Holly married George Dubios (human) and Mitch married Jenna (centaur). Leon and Jack are BFFs. Faye and Jack also had a torrid start, but it cooled off rather fast. Lorna was Jack's teacher when Jack learned he had magic. Mitch and Holly work together as counselors, Rosie is their mutual boss.

the overall plot of the world is that after a long time without magic or fantasy beings on Earth, both are slowly reappearing. However, the majority of supernatural beings are not what their stereotypical tropes would have you believe. Vampires are infected with a chronic disease. So are werewolves. Other planes of existence are common, including the versions of Heaven/Hell/afterlife found in all religions and viewpoints, the relative power/influence of these realms proportionate to how many humans believe in that particular religion/mythology. There are few absolutes; Light and Darkness are two complementary kinds of magic, not moral or ethical poles, despite centuries of human religious leaders trying to conflate them. It's possible to find a demon who isn't completely evil, it's also possible to find an angel who's a total jerk.

The focus is on inverting/subverting all the standard tropes in a humorous way, while exploring themes of prejudice vs. acceptance, 'found family', inter-species romance and mixing magic with science for fun. Why couldn't a group figure out how to make specially tinted windows that block only the wavelengths of sunlight that vampires are sensitive to? And why wouldn't vampires happily purchase such windows for their homes so they could enjoy a warm nap in the daytime?

===== ARTWORK NOTES =====
A) I cannot draw. There is no one in my family or social circle who can draw, either.
B) I have no intention of monetizing the S.I.N. storyline. Therefore, there is no projected cash flow to purchase the services of someone who can draw.
C) Every image you see in this thread has been generated by me, using AI-based image generation tools, for my own use in visualizing the characters.
C.1) I assume the knee-jerk, unthinking, instinctual and blanket response to statement (C) will be condemnation. I'll wait a few days to be banned/banished for statement (C) before putting anything more up.
