I'm looking for writers of any gender to play the male role in an mxf pairing. All sexualities for characters are welcome!
◈ WRITING STYLE : Third-Person, Past-Tense | Literate | Stylized Prose
I seek partners who enjoy reciprocating: enthusiasm for the direction for the story, quality of posts, and (loosely) mirroring post length. I'm comfortable in a range of 600 to 3000+ words, and adore detailed, introspective replies. I strive to meet my partners with a collaborative effort and passionate enthusiasm for our shared roleplay.
◈ CHEMISTRY : Make no mistake, no matter the pairing or circumstances— I expect our characters to be interesting, multi-dimensional people (or creatures) that play off on one another. We should be brimming with excitement at the interactions of our characters. I do have a penchant for intense entanglements. Most especially- romantic ones. They do not have to begin that way, and I have a special place in my heart for dark, twisted brands of romanticism.

I have a broad taste, but I have no interest in futuristic, post-apoc, dystopian, or sci-fi settings.
Whilst I'm all for a lighthearted jaunt, a note to anyone interested in darker themes: grey/ambiguous/vile morality, obsession, brutality and gore- I'm game. But I draw the line at unadulterated cruelty.
This means anything that can be romanticized is fair play. Things that lack that altogether, such as: unnecessary mutilation, pure unconsensual rape (not dubcon/cnc, that's fine), relentless beating/torture (mild torture is fine),
extreme dehumanization, forced sexual slavery (a concubine with standing or sexual consent is fine)- are not.
Your characters can be cruel, just not in those ways. They should form some compelling level of attachment that induces affection, but that affection can be as dangerous, sadistic, or twisted as you like.

◈ AESTHETICS: We're writing fiction without limits, so I prefer our characters to be absurdly attractive. Abuse that privilege! Face claims can be written, art, or semi-realistic. Examples:

◈ SPICE: Intimacy should crackle with palpable heat. It should feel intentional, embedded with the emotional landscape and motivations of our characters. It's difficult to accurately quantify a ratio, but generally I prefer plot over smut. It can be heavier, but supported by circumstances and plot.

Traitor to the realm, he has been sentenced to serve the royal court as their fool. He's been a longstanding performance- so much so that the severity of his crimes have faded into history, replaced by the decadent praise of his audiences. He's enjoyed as an act, an indulgent tryst, an advisor- valued enough to be kept as a high-ranking courtier, but bound to service. Though he's just as much a devil as he once was, plotting to bare his teeth in the right circumstances after a carefully won illusion of complacency.
She's a princess. Though not the traditional kind he's used to. She sneers at his saccharine prose, unbending to his allure whilst others petition for his attentions shamelessly. Visiting from a neighboring kingdom, she's a guest to his court that presides as a neutral territory during the vicious selection of a new monarch. Treaties are updated, bargains struck, and all of importance gather to champion their favorite heir to the throne. Desperate to solidify her claim to rule, she can't risk being entangled with a criminal. Worse, a rake. But he's made a target of her for this season's jesting fun. And frustratingly for her, the spotlight is the perfect way to win over supporters. Only, something terrible lies beneath his mirthful disposition. Obsession is sowing dangerous ties between them. With all his fiendish plotting, he can't seem to leave her alone. And she can't resist the temptation of a devil on her side.

Set in a war-ridden realm laden with mythical beasts, they attend a war college dedicated to the enlistment of the realm's military forces. Some become scribes, others healers- but they are riders. He's a third year, branded by the sins of his people who rebelled from the neighboring nation. And she's the daughter of the general who executed his parents. As she wrenches her way through entry into the Rider's Quadrant, he's determined to enact vengeance- or perhaps he simply can't resist the appeal of his sworn enemy. Assigned to his Wing of command, their proximity threatens both of their lives- and fragile plans waiting to unravel.
Based on Fourth Wing and the dynamics of Violet Sorrengail and Xaden Riorson. This can be original, or utilize the names and characters loosely (preferably with a more morally grey perspective). Includes: Enemies to Lovers, Violence, War Politics, Revolution, Espionage, Dragon Riding, Death, Propaganda, Ambiguous Setting (modern elements in an ancient high fantasy setting)
