Hi, I'm Cori! I've been here a long time and roleplayed even longer. I can sometimes be sparse dues to being chronically ill but ideally I could write till the sun comes up! I love drama, violence, and darker themes.

At the moment my writing speed is about a reply every 1-3 days after setup, but I’m trying to do more often. I have been dropping out for a few days to a week often due to symptom flares, unfortunately. I'm learning to read myself better so I can give heads ups. My preferred length is around 2-4 paragraphs, especially since shorter replies make it easier for me to wrote through brain fog, but I’m sure I can consistently do up to 6.

I love violence, as said above! There's just about nothing that can be done to make me uncomfortable.

No fandoms. I'm good with being suggested other plots but only original character ones. Anything with monsters or killers will probably be loved by me!

Anyway, I'm in the mood to play a monster! Mc can be meaner or sweeter, seme/uke, it's up to you!

•I want to play the harpy

Harpies are known to be critically endangered, though with no confirmed sighting in years many are hoping they’re finally gone. It wouldn’t be the first time the species has gone missing, though; there seemed to be a never ending cycle of harpies attacking humans, humans hunting harpies down, harpies being considered extinct for a generation or so, then coming back with more wrath for the humans. Hell knows who’d started the fight first; at this point, hatred for each other was practically written into the DNA of both species.

That made it all the odder when, while working after-hours one night, a vet was surprised when an injured harpy just waltzed into his office. He’d had the smarter species of birds come up to the door before, as released ones seemed to tell all their friends about him, but this was definitely a first. Did he even have what it took to treat a harpy? Shouldn’t such a dangerous species be handed over to animal control? Did his duties as a vet really apply to something that looked so human?

Thunder rolled as rain pattered against pavement, the sky darkened by the fallen sun. All that lit the way to the back-road vet clinic were a few street lights; it was more used by animal rehabs and ranchers than your standard dog owner and its location showed it - between bumfuck nowhere and a large, old-fashioned town about 45 minutes away. It wasn't glamorous, but it was a lifesaver, or at least the crows said it was.

Heavy breaths wafted through the cold air as a gaze turned to a little hopping bird. "Tcha swhi-queckh chi-t?" The voice straining under pain held an odd mixture of speech, chirps, and whistles. The bird cawed back before hopping evermore forward. A leg dragged behind him as he crawled on his hands to steady himself, getting evermore muddy as blood trickled away. Metal scraped asphalt, causing his ears to press back flat in an attempt to ignore it. It's not like he could get the damn trap off himself; it wouldn't be wise to, considering the teeth of it were in deep. With no harpy healer around, this was his best bet. All he could do was hope it wouldn't get him killed.

"Tcha swhe-queckh chi-tya?" The harpy's mouth twisted in a scowl, but his little companion cawed insistently, and so he reached up to the strange see-through barrier of the building, and to his surprise it opened. There was nothing else he could do but crawl in, looking around in both fear and wonder at the impressive building. "Swhe-queckh? Swhe-queckh chi-füit queckh, Swhi-æckh swhe-ocht. Eeomph.. Eeomph swhe-ocht."
