I’m Dark Adonis, a male writer looking for a female partner for long-term stories with complicated characters and chemistry that actually goes somewhere. I’ve been writing adult-themed roleplays for over twenty years and I still love finding a story that has me thinking about my next reply when I should be doing something else.
I tend to write men who have a decent handle on their lives until someone gets under their skin. They can be intense and stubborn with a talent for making things worse when feelings get involved. Give me secrets or jealousy or two people trying to pretend they aren’t interested when they’ve already given themselves away.
I enjoy building the attraction without keeping our characters at arm’s length forever. Once they start acting on it I want desire and intimacy to remain a regular part of the story. Getting them into bed doesn’t mean we’ve run out of things to write about, especially when they have to deal with what happens afterward.
I’m also happy to write multiple male characters for a reverse harem or another relationship dynamic we both want to explore.
I’m around most days and enjoy posting frequently but I’m comfortable with a slower pace as long as we communicate. If you need a break or lose interest then please tell me rather than leaving me guessing. You won’t get an argument from me, nor will I try to change your mind.
I like discussing ideas without deciding everything before we start because I prefer to discover things through the writing. You decide how your character(s) react. That's the most important part to me.
Your limits matter just as much as mine and neither of us should have to defend them. Stories stay in forum threads with PMs for plotting and OOC conversation.
These are starting points rather than plots I need you to follow. If something catches your interest then send me a PM and tell me what you’d like to do with it. If you have something else in mind I’m happy to hear that too.

A little about writing with me
My replies usually run three to six paragraphs depending on the scene but I have been known to write a lot more. I care about character voice and how our characters react to each other more than matching lengths. Give me something I can work with and I’ll do the same.I’m around most days and enjoy posting frequently but I’m comfortable with a slower pace as long as we communicate. A few ideas
The Velvet Inheritance
She inherits a neglected estate in the French countryside with debts and locked rooms nobody seems eager to explain. As she begins restoring it she finds old journals and discrepancies in the floor plans while several people take an interest in her arrival. I’d enjoy a gothic mystery where discovering the history of the house also means questioning the people she’s growing close to.Between Two Horizons
They’ve grown close through late-night calls and conversations that became more personal than either intended. Meeting in person means finding out whether that connection survives his family and the carefully arranged life she’s only heard about. There’s room for tenderness here alongside the mess of wanting someone who doesn’t fit neatly into your plans. The Arrangements
She answers an unusual ad while trying to improve her circumstances and finds herself dealing with people who are accustomed to getting what they want. The money makes certain decisions easier until personal attachments start changing the arrangement. I’m interested in giving her room to find her footing rather than deciding her choices for her.Written in Leather
A review she leaves catches the attention of the artisan who made her order. His reply becomes a conversation they keep returning to long after they’ve finished discussing the purchase. This could be a quieter story where curiosity and trust gradually give them reasons to take things further. After the Spotlight
An online creative outlet brings several familiar names into her life beyond the screen. They’ve each formed their own impression of her and meeting in person gives everyone something to reconsider. I’d enjoy exploring the friendships and attraction that develop alongside a little jealousy when those connections begin to overlap. The Terms of Surrender
They meet at a private club where discretion makes it easier to explore something neither usually allows themselves. When their lives start crossing outside its doors they have to figure out whether they still want the same things without that separation. There’s plenty to explore between power and vulnerability once keeping their distance stops being so easy. These are starting points rather than plots I need you to follow. If something catches your interest then send me a PM and tell me what you’d like to do with it. If you have something else in mind I’m happy to hear that too.
