Occupation: Part time waitress, aspiring novelist.
Short Bio: Sloan grew up in a small town in the pacific northwest, where everyone knew everyone's names and secrets and stories were shared over steaming mugs of coffee at the only diner in town. Thomas, her father, is a mechanic with callused hands and a gentle eyes. Her mother died when she was three from a rare form of cancer. Though she doesn't remember her mother very well, her father shared stories about her through photographs and laughter. When she was 16 she started working at the Rusty Spoon, a rustic old school style diner that sometimes served coffee that was a little burnt and the owners dry banana bread but nobody cared.
Despite working long hours on her feet at the diner, she always made time for her favorite stories and folklore about the supernatural. Ghosts, werewolves, vampires, the works. They all fascinated her, and sometimes she thought they couldn't just be myths. They had to be real. In her free time, she spends time in the woods with friends or family. Being in the woods made her feel closer to the stories her father would tell. Maybe some day she'd actually get to write about the ideas that floated around in her head.
