Herb your enthusiasm, this is list of my characters! Basil-ically this is the initial info of my my current favorite characters - rest I will update here later. But but to the point. These are just little character summaries, snippets that gives an idea of my characters. I have longer character sheets for them I can provide if needed. The "titles" are links to their Pinterest boards for visuals.
CHARACTERS
Bo the seemingly edgy, seemingly sweet sociopath
Bo is a 25-year-old med school student. He likes to think of himself as the cool cold guy... but can manage to act like that 2 minutes straight. Bo is an immature jokester. He has good social skills and likes to be around people. Under his sweet and goofy nature, he is someone hedonistic who acts on his own impulses. It's rare for Bo to feel romantic attraction, but when he does, his love gets obsessive. He was born as a hearing child to deaf parents but otherwise had a regular childhood.
Vanja the sweet grandma disguised as a goth
Vanja is a 24-year-old psychology major and freelance photographer. He has a cold, collected and calm persona, definitely more introverted. He is the oldest son of a family of 8 siblings and possibly because of this very nurturing and caring. He is a sweet grandma disguised as a young goth guy. Vanja has a secret teasing/trolly side that pops up with certain people. He used to be in an abusive relationship and is a bit prejudiced against some mental health issues, as his violent ex had bpd. The man enjoys grandma-like activities such as crocheting and knitting.
Aster the depressed hippie
Aster is a 24-years-old bohemian fine arts student. He has a tendency to act cold and sarcastic, but only certain people seem to make this side pop. He is calm to the point of seeming dull but has an inner flame. He is a maladaptive daydreamer who struggles with forgetfulness and unfocused tendencies. Aster grew up in a family with distant relationships. His father suppressed his sexuality and due to past scars took his life after Aster came out. Aster blames himself for this and was heavily influenced by the tragedy. Afterwards he took on the responsibility of the family flower shop-funeral parlor to support his widowed mother.
Lyra the domme Disney princess
Lyra is a 23-years-old psychology major who works as a party princess on the side. She is an optimist to the point to be able to stay positive even when life isn't fair. She was raised by her demented grandma, who wore bohemian clotjing and owned 10 cats. She was an lgbtq+ activist in her youth and always told Lyra to be her rtue self - and that's exactly what Lyra does. She is a bubbly and playful girl, someone to get easily excited. She is very eloquent and expressive, definitely more extroverted. What comes to her vices, she's not exactly impulsive but doesn't always think about the result of her actions.
Orion the nerd enjoying pasta and body horror at once
Orion is a 23-years-old kindergarten teacher. He is an optimist to the point of it being toxic positivity. He tends to hide his true emotions behind a pretty smile, totally blocking out everything negative. Orion is playful. He likes to play tricks and often comes up with innocent little jokes, mostly stupid puns. Growing up Orion was a caretaker for his mentally ill mother, this made him grow fast. It might be also a reason why he is so nurturing and caring. He really likes to spoil his loved ones, but feels awkward getting spoiled in return. He is very into body horror, he has a bunch of artistic and nerdy hobbies. Eg. In his freetime he takes part in dnd and paints figurines.
