Full Name: Laurence Wiltshire
Age: 26
Height: 5’10
Gender: male
Role: Gentleman of the Season

House/Family: eldest son of the house Wiltshire, older brother to Rosalie. Since his uncle, the Duke Wiltshire, had no children or heirs- the title will likely pass to him, a fact he’s just now taking seriously since his father and uncle are getting older and he’s been tasked with more responsibilities of their estate - of which he begrudgingly accepted even though he wishes for a simpler life.

Reputation: he has a complicated reputation like his sister but leaning on the up side due to his charming and charismatic personality. He’s been one to party, be a bit of a rake, and make rash decisions but he also has a better head on his shoulders than most young men his age - in his father’s opinion.

Personality: though he’s seen as well mannered and charming, he can be very reserved and careful with who he shows his true self too - with a more humble, sensitive and caring side. He often puts on a show to please society and his father, though it can feel and seem disingenuous at times. He can also be quick to anger if the right chord is struck.

Biography: he was fifteen when his mother passed, his father has always been hard on him but turned more demanding and cold after that, much like his sister. He went to an all boys academy, and then a prestigious university so he was never home for too long except for summers. Now that he has no excuse, he taken on more manners of the estate off his father’s shoulders, and has been meeting with his uncle to take on his new role in society in recent years.

Motivations: He simply wants to find a match and be done with the ordeal, not expecting to find love or care deeply for someone really. Though he would like to find someone he can put up with for an expected lifetime, and feel more like himself with - though he feels that may be unlikely. The way he sees it, the faster he fulfills his father’s wishes and takes a bride the better off he is.

Strengths: charismatic, intelligent, sincere, is very humble for his position of wealth.

Flaws: Reserved, puts up a charming front that can be seen through, makes rash decisions, and has a temper that can get the better of him at times - much like his father.

Secrets: (dm’d)

Connections: older brother to Rosalie Wiltshire.

I think it'd be funny if my Isadora and Rosalie were friends, because I can see most of the upper society seeing those two getting along and being like "oh god there's two of them." Since Isadora is basically a hurricane given human form, I can definitely see the Wiltshires labeling her as a 'bad influence' on Rosalie, meanwhile Isadora is just glad to find a friend as opinionated as she is and who she can gossip with.

Percival: Isa, please, Duke Wiltshire has sent two messengers by asking that you please stop throwing rocks at Lady Rosalie's window.
Isadora: Well they won't let me write to her anymore, so how else am I supposed to tell her I wish to see her?!

Also @darko.pdf how would you feel about making Percival and Seraphina a couple? I think they'd fit quite nicely together, because he's exactly the type of guy her family would be all over as an 'exceptional gentleman', but he'd also give her the respect and independence she craves. The sort of match that placates her family while being exactly what she was hoping for.
