Welcome all, I wanted a Bridgerton like role play. So here we are!

Each spring, the city of Eldermere comes alive as a select circle of noble families gathers for The Season. Ballrooms open, promenades fill, and every eligible lady and gentleman steps into society with one goal in mind: to secure a match that will define their future.

This is not simply a time of romance. It is a time of strategy, reputation, and survival.

In a season intentionally kept small and intimate, every interaction carries weight. Every glance is noticed. Every rumor spreads quickly. With so few in attendance, there is no anonymity and no escaping the eyes of society.

Complicating matters further is the arrival of an anonymous scandal sheet known as The Rose Ledger. Delivered discreetly to each household, it exposes private affairs, hidden truths, and carefully guarded secrets. No one knows who is behind it, but everyone reads it. Once your name appears, your standing in society may never recover.

As the season unfolds, alliances will form and fracture. Courtships will bloom or collapse under pressure. Some will pursue love despite the risks, while others will choose duty, ambition, or survival.

In Eldermere, reputation is everything. And this season, it is more fragile than ever.

Group Details:
This will be a small, character-driven group focused on interpersonal dynamics, slow-burn romance, and social tension.
  • Total players: 6 to 10
  • Even split between male and female characters
  • Currently one female space is taken.

Ooh, I love Regency inspired stuff! I'd be super interested in playing a character or two if you'd allow me!
You can definitely play two if you’d like!
I currently still waiting to see if anyone else is interested. At least someone who’d like to play another set of characters.
Or I might put this in a looking for someone to do a 1x1 with and just double lol.

I have quite a few posts to catch up on and if you guys haven’t plotted too much, I’ll be interested in this. I don’t mind doubling up, female and male.

Please let me know if you both are still looking for someone. 🌸

Face Claim: Sabrina Carpenter
Full Name: Lady Seraphina Valecrest
Age: 20
Height: 5’0”
Gender: Female
Role: Lady of the Season

House/Family: House Valecrest. An old and deeply respected family known for its refinement, cultural patronage and longstanding influence in Eldermere. Their wealth is stable, their name nearly untouchable and their expectations…suffocating.
Reputation: Admired for her beauty and grace, often described as “delicate” or “charming,” though those who pay closer attention whisper that she is not as easily managed as she appears. There is a sense that she is always just on the edge of impropriety, never crossing the line, but never entirely safe either.
Personality: Seraphina is a contradiction wrapped in silk. She is warm, expressive and deeply passionate about the things she loves, yet stubborn to a fault and quietly defiant when she feels controlled. She has a romantic heart, prone to idealizing love and beauty, but she is not naive. She simply refuses to let cynicism take root. There is a sharpness to her, a quick wit that slips out in subtle remarks and knowing looks. She dislikes being underestimated, though she often allows it when it benefits her. Beneath her softness is a will that does not bend easily.

Biography: Born the only daughter of House Valecrest, Seraphina was raised in an environment of elegance, expectation and careful cultivation. From a young age, she was taught music, painting, literature and etiquette. Everything required of a perfect lady of society.

Yet where others found comfort in structure, Seraphina found confinement. She developed a quiet habit of rebellion in small, controlled ways like sneaking into rooms she was not meant to enter, reading works considered inappropriate, painting not what was proper, but what she felt.

Her family has always dismissed these tendencies as harmless quirks, believing marriage will settle her. This season marks her formal entrance into society, and with it, mounting pressure to secure a match worthy of the Valecrest name. What no one quite realizes is that Seraphine has no intention of becoming a perfectly obedient wife, no matter how beautifully she plays the part.

Motivations: She wants a marriage that allows her freedom. One that lets her think, create, to feel, though she is unwilling to admit just how much she also craves real love. At the same time, a stubborn part of her resists the idea of marriage entirely, creating an internal tension she cannot easily resolve.

Strengths: Artistically gifted, emotionally perceptive, socially charming when she chooses to be and quietly strong-willed.
Flaws: Stubborn and resistant to authority, prone to impulsive decisions when emotionally stirred, struggles to compromise and can romanticize people and situations to her own detriment.

Secrets: Wouldn’t you like to know…

Male Sheet Coming Soon <3

Full name: Percival Blythe, Lord of Blythe Hall
Age: 25 years old
Height: 5'9"
Gender: Male
Role: Gentleman of the Season

House/Family: Blythe, an established family who got their wealth both from military exploits as well as the cloth produced in their factories. A relatively small, very tight-knit family where everyone is always aware of what the others are doing.

Reputation: Percival himself has a reputation of being very agreeable and friendly, if a bit awkward around people he does not know well. The Blythes as a family have the reputation of being very close, almost as if they were a single body rather than a group of people.

Personality: Percival Blythe is a friendly, warm-hearted individual who always seems to have a small smile on his face. He likes to laugh and joke, but is also very intellectual and deep, and enjoys a meaningful discussion just as much as he enjoys a light-hearted walk through the park. A passionate man, Percival has a deep sense of justice and grows quite discontent when someone he cares about has been slighted, or even if strangers are being treated unfairly. A gentle soul at his core, Percival can be anxious in unfamiliar situations, yet he is fantastic at hiding it and melds himself to suit any social group quite easily, almost as if he taught himself quite early on how to charm his way to the top.

Biography: Percival is the only child of the late Edmund Blythe and his wife, Katherine. Growing up under his mother's gentle hand while also dealing with his father's ferocious temper meant that Percival had a rather rocky childhood, making him an extremely anxious and flighty child who would run away at the slightest loud noise or perceived threat- even if there was none. He struggled with his schooling and watched his mother be punished as a result, which resulted in Percival becoming quite protective of her. Following the death of his father, Percival has shown his prowess for business and strategy, all the while being his mother's most dear companion.

Motivations: Percival's motivation to find a wife this season is a mixture of the desire for a love match and security. As the only heir of the Blythe fortune, he needs to have children in order to preserve his legitimacy, and he privately desires a companion that he can have debates with and care for. He doesn't want a wife to subdue; he wants an equal partner who will motivate him even further.

Strengths: Passionate, Gentle, Social, Intelligent
Weaknesses: Temperamental, Anxious, Chameleon, Overprotective
Secrets: (Dm'ed)
"A secret of mine? Oh- well... you didn't hear it from my own mouth, but I am a horrid dancer! I know, I know, shocking, but I have two left feet, I swear!"

Name: Isadora Blythe, Cousin of Lord Percival Blythe
Age: 23 years old
Height: 5'4"
Gender: Female
Role: Lady of the Season

House: Blythe- a daughter of an off-shoot of the main family, Isadora's family got much of their money the same way as the original Blythes, but her father's own fortune came largely from her mother's dowry.

Reputation: As a newcomer to the city, Isadora has quickly cemented herself as a quirky, flamboyant woman to compliment her cousin's outgoing nature. The young Blythes are gaining the reputation of being 'weird'.

Personality: Isadora, or Isa as Percival lovingly calls her, is a rather large personality in a small package. Feisty and opinionated, she lets her thoughts be heard quite loudly and proudly and has no qualms about insulting someone- though it usually is unintentional. She adores excitement and can always be found in the center of everything, happily making friends everywhere she goes. Isadora is like a pastel hurricane, blowing in and causing an uproar, and leaving everyone wondering what just happened. Yet she is highly intelligent and is a fastidious problem-solver. She can be blunt, but her bluntness comes from a place of care- she simply is honest to a fault- and she can be gentle and nurturing when the situation calls for it.

Biography: Isadora is the younger daughter of Benedict Blythe- youngest brother of Edmund Blythe- and his wife, Edith. Her older sister, Charity (Kitty), is ten years her senior, and Isadora was quite spoiled by her sister and mother. Her father was also a doting father, almost too indulgent of his wife and girls. Isadora grew up playing and studying, though she bribed her sister to do most of her schoolwork for her. She was a wild child, always outside and without care for society's rules and expectations and would regularly disappear for hours only to reappear with a new wild animal as a pet and covered in mud. She was suddenly sent to live with her aunt and cousin in hopes that their more laid-back living would help turn her into a 'proper lady', and she resents this idea greatly, even if she is trying to make the best of it.

Motivations: Isadora wants a love-match, as well as security and status. She wants a husband who will allow her to remain as she is and not seek to change her to suit their image. Yet she also needs a man who is willing to look past some of the... fewer savory matters in her life, and the security and protection that a high-standing man of society will offer her.

Strengths: opinionated, social, honest, problem-solver
Weaknesses: Feisty, unintentionally insulting, blunt, overly-excitable
Secrets: (DM'ed)

"Secrets? Pft, the only secret I have right now is the three macarons I have in my pocket. Don't tell Aunt Katherine, she's already scolded me once today."

Face Claim: Aaron Taylor-Johnson
Full Name: Mr. Lucien D’Arcy
Age: 27
Height: 5’11”
Gender: Male
Role: Gentleman of the Season

House/Family: House D’Arcy, a newly elevated family whose wealth was built not through legacy, but through sharp dealings in trade, shipping and risk. While their fortune rivals that of older houses, their name lacks the same deep-rooted respect, making them both powerful and quietly scrutinized.
Reputation: Dangerously charming and notoriously indulgent. Lucien is widely known as a rake. Frequenting gambling tables, private clubs and less respectable corners of society. Despite this, he maintains an undeniable allure, and more frustratingly, an impeccable record of winning. Many disapprove of him publicly, yet few refuse his company outright.
Personality: Lucien is composed, observant and endlessly self-assured. He carries himself with the ease of a man who rarely loses, whether at cards or in conversation. His charm is deliberate rather than careless, every smile, every remark placed with intention.
He enjoys risks, not out of recklessness, but because he understands it. There is a calculating mind behind his relaxed demeanor, one that reads people as easily as hands of cards. Beneath it all, however, is a certain detachment. He keeps others at arm’s length, preferring control over vulnerability and amusement over sincerity.

Biography: Lucien was not born into the polished world he now inhabits. His family rose quickly, acquiring wealth and status within a single generation, an ascent that brought opportunity, but also quiet disdain from older houses. Determined never to be looked down upon, Lucien adapted quickly. He learned the rules of high society, then just as quickly learned how to bend them without breaking. Gambling became both his vice and his weapon. What began as entertainment turned into mastery, earning him both fortune and reputation.
Now fully embedded in Eldermere’s social sphere, Lucien walks a careful line. He is accepted, desired even but never entirely trusted. And perhaps worst of all, he knows it.

Motivation: Lucien is driven by control. Over his image, his circumstances and the way society perceives him. While marriage could solidify his family’s standing, he has little interest in binding himself unless it serves a greater purpose or proves unexpectedly worthwhile.

Strengths: Exceptionally skilled gambler, highly perceptive and strategic, charismatic and socially adept and maintains composure under pressure.
Flaws: Emotionally guarded, prone to indulgence and excess, struggles with genuine attachment and quietly prideful, especially regarding his status.
