Introductions are difficult, and I never know what to say or where to start, but here I am.
I'm here because a dear friend invited me, tempting me with the concept of a new roleplay. I've been doing some form of roleplay writing since late 2012. I discovered RP on IMVU, and got my start there. I largely stick to fantasy and sci-fi concepts, but its not a hard or fast rule.
It has been a while since I've done PBP writing on a forum, however. My most consistent and ongoing RP began in September of 2019 on Discord and continues to this day. Hobbies outside of reading and writing include baking bread, doing my nails (love doing them myself and listening to an audiobook), playing DnD and spending time with my wife. We have six cats (Chips, Queso, Nugget, Noodle, Caramel, and Tortellini), a handful of nieces and nephews (some by blood, and some are just a bonus).
I get paid to argue with people for a living--make of that what you will.
Writing/book topics that will absolutely capture my interest are anything that contain the following: cons, pirates, or witches.
I'm sure I've left out something important or relevant, but it is what it is! Looking forward to meeting some of you.
Edit to add some of my favorite books (in no particular order):
Tress of the Emerald Sea by Brandon Sanderson
This is How You Lose the Time War by Amal El-Mohtar and Max Gladstone
The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch
Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
