Hello everyone! As the title suggests, I've been looking to start an enemies to lovers themed roleplay inspired by the premise of Treasure Island!
But first a little about me:
I'm in my 30s, and I've been writing as a hobby for about 15 years now, but I’ve enjoyed stories in the mxm romance genre for just as long… if not longer. xD I really enjoy messy romances, complex characters, and a good dose of levity in my stories. I especially love brainstorming with my partners and discussing the happenings of the rp in between replies! Needless to say, I love ooc chatter!
Anyways, onto the plot!
The Gist:
Muse A finds himself in possession of a mysterious map said to lead to untold riches.
Muse B is a ruthless criminal who has spent the better half of his life looking for this fabled treasure, hellbent on finding it and claiming it for himself.
For one reason or another, Muse A is the only one capable of deciphering the map’s contents, making him both an asset and liability for Muse B, who is forced to keep Muse A from escaping, dying, or being kidnapped by rival forces along the treacherous journey to the treasure...
I have a soft spot for pirate-related stories, so I'd be happy to do a rendition of the original Treasure Island story with our own characters!
But the fun thing about the set up is it can work with most settings and genres. Western, Fantasy, Post-Apocalyptic, Supernatural, Sci-fi…
Like in a fantasy setting for example, the mysterious map could be a grimoire that's said to lead to the Fountain of Youth or something.
Orrr if it's a western, the map could lead to gold bars hidden by a notorious train robber who was recently killed or captured.
I really love mixing up genres and I'm hoping to find a partner who enjoys it as well!
Requirements/Availability:
Please be over the age of 21! Preferably looking for a partner around my age.
I do work a full-time job, so all I ask is for patience in between replies. That being said, you can expect at least 2 rp replies a week on average.
I'd consider my writing style as descriptive literate with an average of 900 words per reply… sometimes more, sometimes less depending on the scene. I would be more than happy to exchange writing samples!
