β—ŸΛ–Β° about me . . . ‡︎

hey, i’m mortal (she/they & 25). i've been writing and roleplaying since middle school, so a little over 10 years now. i spend an unhealthy amount of time reading, watching shows/movies, listening to music, and concocting elaborate ways to torment my characters. i also work a full-time job and navigate the horrors of higher education, so my sanity has been questionable. regardless, i'm looking for a partner or two to get invested in some new stories with.

β—ŸΛ–Β° writing preferences . . . ‡︎

age requirements:
21+

person/tense: third person/past tense.

pairings & character preferences: mxm or fxf. i strongly prefer oc x oc pairings and creating original plots and universes with my partners. that said, i'm always open to drawing inspiration from existing media.

literacy & reply length: my replies typically range from 500–2k+ words depending on the scene. i'd love partners who can match that length, though i don't expect every response to be that extensive. as long as we're moving the story forward, i have no complaints.

activity & communication: i usually reply once or twice a week, sometimes more if i'm not being held hostage by school and work. i'm always happy to chat ooc, and while it's not an obligation, frequent ooc chatter gets me even more invested in our story.

i consider myself a very patient writer, and i'm fine with taking things at whatever pace works for us. hiatuses are perfectly fine, and i'm ghost-friendly. i'd always appreciate a heads-up if you're losing interest, but i understand that life happens, and there are no hard feelings if you disappear.

mature themes & limits: i don’t have a fixed smut-to-plot ratio. as long as it makes sense for the characters and the chemistry is there, i’m all for it. i just don’t want the plot to be overshadowed by it.

i prefer writing against characters who can shift between dominant/submissive, assertive/vulnerable roles depending on context or chemistry. my own characters are just as versatile, and bedroom preferences tend to shift depending on who they're paired with and how their relationship develops.

i'm pretty enthusiastic about darker and more violent themes, but i'm just as fond of fluff, hurt/comfort, and tenderness. i love a good balance of both.

my only hard limit would be graphic depictions of animal abuse. please feel free to share your own limits and preferences with me, too!

face claims: i prefer illustrated references, character art, or good old-fashioned written descriptions over real-life face claims.

plotting & collaboration: i'm pretty flexible when it comes to worldbuilding. we can either build an entire universe from scratch or sketch out enough detail to give the world some character. regardless, i like having a solid foundation for the plot and a partner who's just as eager to contribute ideas. edits, pinterest boards, playlists, art, and headcanons are absolutely welcome.

✰ a noble’s deception ╹⁺

⟑. a knight allows himself to be captured by a notorious band of outlaws while searching for a missing member of the royal family. unfortunately, their leader proves considerably more difficult to deceive than anticipated.

✰ proper conduct ╹⁺

⟑. a nobleman is sent to marry the reclusive heir of an ancient house, whose family has maintained an uneasy peace with the neighboring kingdom for centuries. his intended husband is perfectly charming, provided he remains indoors after sundown.

✰ a devil in chains ╹⁺

⟑. a disgraced demon prince is stripped of his powers and forcibly bound to a mortal witch as punishment for an attempted rebellion. the witch has no interest in keeping a servant, and the demon has even less interest in serving him.

✰ deadweight ╹⁺

⟑. aboard a prison ship bound for deep space, an infection begins spreading through the crew and its prisoners. a convict finds himself under the protection of the ship's executioner, whose own body is slowly succumbing to whatever has taken hold of the vessel.

✰ the midnight menagerie ╹⁺

⟑. a traveling circus appears in dying towns after sundown, offering refuge to monsters and outcasts alike. a human runaway joins its peculiar family and catches the attention of its centuries-old vampire ringmaster, who has made a habit of keeping mortals at arm's length.

✰ all debts come due ╹⁺

⟑. a desperate outlaw makes a bargain with a vampire to escape an approaching posse. years later, the vampire arrives to collect what he's owed, only to discover that his former debtor has become a respectable lawman.

✰ terms of surrender ╹⁺

⟑. following humanity's victory over an alien empire, a decorated officer is assigned to interrogate its captured prince. neither has much affection for the other, though their private war of patience and pride grows complicated when the officer begins questioning his own orders.

✰ collateral damage ╹⁺

⟑. a rookie mercenary joins a notorious crew of cybernetically enhanced criminals, only to develop a peculiar attachment to their oldest member. the veteran has survived longer than anyone expected and seems determined to discourage his newest recruit from following in his footsteps.

⟑ the genders and roles aren't set in stone. i'm more than happy to adjust them to suit whichever pairing we're writing. ⟑
