Hello there!
It seems I'm late to the party, however after several dozen RP's I'm finding the need for a character repository that isn't simply my google drives more and more pressing. So without further ado, some of my characters.

Background
Early years
Robert was not born as a man of note, not born to the gentry with the easy path of knighthood. No Robert was born a Serf. Had his life been uninterrupted he would have joined the rank and file as just another peasant tending to the land. His family slightly better off in the fact that his father was a blacksmith, so Robert's future would have been secure.
Then the bandits came. A cliche story, but none the less the one that Robert was forced to live. His family killed, his mother raped, and him left scarred and bloody after attempting to use his father's hammer to kill the man defiling his mother. He should have died that day and let that be the end. However Robert did not die, he woke in the rubble of his former life, a boy with no clear path in life.
Yet he did survive. He didn't know much about his father's trade, but had learned just enough to be of use. He joined a caravan that passed through the wreckage, helping out where he was able. He soon found his place among the caravan guards, tending to their weapons and armor with the skills he'd learned from his father. When the caravan eventually dissolved and the mercenaries looked for employ elsewhere he chose to travel with them, down the more dangerous yet more lucrative road they walked.
In time his interest with weapons grew, and having proven himself a valuable member of the band of mercenaries he found himself a part of training was easy for him to come by. In time he found himself as much a warrior as any of the men he traveled with, becoming well versed in a variety of martial weapons. By the time he was twenty he was truly a force to be reckoned with, a warrior with few equals. It was through this that he earned himself recognition with the king.
He was granted the honor of knighthood, and parted from the band of men he'd grown up with. They left on good terms, however now he was granted position under the lord his band had served under, a life of stability. It is there he has remained for the past four years of his life.
