She is the oldest and most prized daughter of Hiroshi Yamada, the revered and feared leader of the Yamada Clan, one of the most influential yakuza organizations in Japan. From a young age, Paige was groomed to uphold the family's legacy and traditions. Her childhood was marked by a combination of opulence, strict discipline, and the constant presence of the yakuza's shadowy world.

As a child, Paige received a comprehensive education, both in academics and the martial arts. She learned to speak both Japanese and English fluently, a skill that would later prove invaluable in her life. Her father instilled in her a sense of loyalty, duty, and the importance of maintaining the clan's honor above all else. While she was shielded from the more violent aspects of the yakuza's operations during her early years, she was well aware of her family's criminal affiliations.
