Hello. My name is TJ, and I'm itching for an interactive literary fix.​

MY WRITING
(What to expect from me.)

• Never a one-liner. I often struggle to keep things under 500 words, in fact. Wordy, but not overly descriptive since I prefer to get to the point.
• Pacing control. Every post to an RP I make progresses the plot, and I tend to take it upon myself to move things along if pacing slows, or slow things down if they are going too fast. It depends on what is necessary.
• Planning. From the simplest, most flexible plot bunnies to the more complex, rigid plot webs, I require structure. I at least need to know where we're headed.
• Variety. I write all kinds of types of people no matter the sex, gender, race, beliefs, etc. The various shades of human expression is my jam.
• Third Person POV. I lean toward Third Person Omniscient in general style, but actively write in Third Person anchored to my own character(s) and their minds, beliefs, feelings, etc. (Sometimes an unreliable narrator, depending on the character and how biased they are.)
• Communication. At least in regards to roleplay. I reply fairly quickly and will give you a heads up, otherwise. In regards to communication, I prefer PM here on this site.

EXPECTATIONS
(What I expect from potential partners.)

• Never a one-liner. I wouldn't subject you to such a thing, so don't expect me to accept it. You can write to match, but that isn't necessary. Write to respond, preferably in action that makes sure to keep the--
• Pacing. If anything, attempt to respond with pacing in mind.
• Spell-check. It exists on nearly every device and application. Make use of it and other writing tools at your disposal.
• Communicate. Tell me what you like, don't like, expect, if you're going to reply late or not at all. Just don't leave me hanging nor expect me to read your mind. Words are what we do. Let's use them to our advantage.

PREFERENCES
(General fancies.)

• GENRES: Action, Adventure, Supernatural, Sci-Fi, Psychological, Cerebral, Drama, Fantasy, Thriller, Horror, some Romance (when the philosophical curiosity strikes), Erotica, Historical Fiction.
• PAIRINGS: All pairings are welcomed.

IDEAS
(Currently kicking around...)

• A troubled, wealthy man [my character] tries to escape the contractual obligations of his family and the devil, Lucifer. What he seeks he goes looking for in others, expensive whiskey bottles, and the End is Nigh parties he hosts in his lonely mansion on the hill. He has one year to comply. What fate will he choose?
• A young transwoman [my character] discovers troubling psychic abilities that brings her closer to murderers than is comfortable or safe. Things take a turn for the worse when a love interest/friend goes missing, and she witnesses the entire crime as if she had done it. Can she save them before it's too late?
• A small time SoCal drug dealer and young father [my character] is attacked and bitten by a beast on the night of the full moon. Everything changes.
• [BIG PLOT] The Hybrid Initiative, a scientific organization dedicated to studying and researching the cross-breeding of known supernatural creatures in a search for the ideal being. Defective subjects are usually terminated, but one such subject [my character] will take the whole organization to task. Will you join him or stand with the Initiative? (more planning and discussion involved)

ACTIVE ROLEPLAYS
To keep myself sane and to be fair to those I am writing with, I will be capping my active roleplays at 4 at a time. That way, I can focus on them until they are complete before starting any more.

That said, I will still be open to taking on and making my own requests, and I'll make a cue of future roleplays if necessary.
