Are you enjoying it? It is in my Steam Library along with like 30 other non played games...
I think that's the last AC I played ' I massively prefer the AC games that are closer to the original format. Odyssey, Valhalla, syndicate, just were not for me. But I am blinded by nostalgia goggles from the Ezio trilogy.

Oh my mountain of shame is ridiculous I totally get that, 200 plus games in think I can count on both hand the number I have completed.

I enjoy it yes. But then I’m fascinated by dilemma golden age. Though it is a disappointment about the assassin Basim. Playing it again as I downloaded the dlc and want to play it in order. Prefer the rpg games but not a fan of Valhalla and HATE the Layla storyline/modern era. Though used to rushing in, it sucks not having a bow in mirage and having to sneak around.
Also a lot of history in Baghdad/Islam during that era like it’s spread through Southeast Asia, regions in the game, factions in the game, characters, enemies, gameplay info.

I did a quick re-read over the story again, and just to be clear, it seems the tribute hunt thing started? and I'm assuming the characters are either the ones being hunted or they just end up getting caught up in the whole thing. is this oversimplified version correct?

Correct on the hunt starting and it is definitely the backdrop of the story but it is up to you on how your character will be affected by it. For example, MC is a Courtesan stuck in a brothel so unless the hunted/hunters crash through, she probably will not be directly affected by it. So there is a plot in place to get her more involved with the characters in other ways. (Nyx, correct me if i'm wrong)
You are correct not to understand because as yet noone is being hunted.
At the moment we are setting up the characters and their lives within the setting. The Bounty Hunt going on, sort of in the back ground is part of Vortek tradition. The Runners get 24 hours before the Hunt teams are released.
The catalyst is yet to occur. Because we are only really 3 posts in progression wise. It just looks more because we have so many perspectives.
We are getting there i just need to ensure everyone is introduced AND their story is heading in the right direction, at least to start with. Once you guys characters are interacting with each other more there will be much less direction needed from me.

Alright, got ya! I sincerely hope those Runners have good luck, especially if a certain oversized xenomorph is after them. Oh, also from the many others likely to be hunting once the 24 hours are over.
If I had known it was going to be a group RP I would never have started it this way I would have planned completely differently, hell I wouldn't even have a character cos I am uncomfortable as a GM to run my own C, but I can work around that.
So far as I know, my character is the only runner while the others are npc of Nyx.
