I've never attempted forum rp before so it'll take a minute or two for me to get used to this but I'm excited to be here regardless! Good to meet you all o/ you can call me spiral or sea, I'm 25+ and have 12 years of rp experience. I’ve written both fandom and oc content though lately I’ve been really looking to write more oc content with others.

Communication is important to me and I like being on the same page as my writing partner. I’m not the type of person that needs to be spoken to every day but it’d be nice if we could check in with each other occasionally. It helps with setting boundaries, planning, or if you need to step away for a while due to irl or other things (which I never mind!). But aside from logistics, I also just like chatting ooc about our characters, whatever is happening in our current thread, and creating hcs/art/playlists. It’s part of the fun for me! \o/
I enjoy writing ships but I prefer a slow build of tension/slow burn kind of deal rather than instant love. The characters getting to know each other is what makes it interesting. I like dragging out the flirting, teasing, confusion, realization of feelings, and confessions.
I don’t mind writing smut but it’s never my main focus. I prefer that to happen after lots of build up and only if the characters have chemistry.
While I enjoy romance I also really love exploring platonic bonds too! Very underrated in my opinion, especially because they can be just as if not more fulfilling than romantic bonds.
