Hey all! Call me Merc, he/they, EST. I've been roleplaying in various forms for 20+ years. I'm not great at writing intros but I'm glad to be here!

I tend to average 500-800+ words (5-10+ paragraphs) per post, and primarily main as male OCs (though I can and do write side characters of all genders). I'm not afraid of dark/adult themes, and have few limits in that regard. I also love OOC chatter and plotting, so feel free to shoot me a message! Genres I enjoy include (but are not limited to) SoL, romance, crime, and fantasy. I'm generally open to all ideas, though I don't play within fandoms (I've tried, it's not for me).

Other hobbies include Lego building (ask me about my collection!) and video games - currently I'm playing LoZ: Link Between Worlds, and I recently restarted my village in AC: New Leaf. I also have a respectable board game collection, and am cat dad to the brattiest of shorthairs.

Second! I bet you're wondering how to start Role Playing and where to go! I think it's pretty fun to explore the forums, and I highly recommend doing so! Most thread homes, if not all, have a pinned post at the top of them to tell you what goes there!

However, the Request Threads are pretty self explanatory; Here's a Link! There's plenty to look through, but you could also build your very own! Tell people what you're all about and get those writing partners! Take your time though; there's never any pressure! Next, I've created A Sanctum Tour to help find a lot of cool places on site! There's plenty to do while waiting on replies or to give yourself a break every now and then! I worked so hard on my AC village and then abandoned it soon after because I was so content with it, I guess. I don't even remember what it looks like now. I swear the Nintendo Switch is one of those consoles that I have that will sit until suddenly a new pokemon game surfaces... Suddenly I recall how much I enjoy Nintendo. The cycle repeats.

Oh man I can't even remember the last time I touched my switch lol, I've been playing on my 3DS (RIP online play ;.;) which I have a lot more games for and I feel like is a much better size to be carrying around anyway... I did finally beat Alpha Sapphire a few months ago, which I think is the newest pokemon release that I've played (gen 6 kinda spoiled the franchise for me, which is a shame since up to that point I played/loved every main series game and a lot of the spinoffs).
