Hello all, I'm Zanna and I am looking for either one-on-one or group roleplay. I have more experience as a tabletop gamer than I do as a forum-based gamer but seeing as I write as well then I might as well combine the two. I am far more concerned with story than dice rolls and stats, so this works out.
My style honestly depends on the character that I'm portraying. I can portray a wide variety of characters, whether male, female, non-binary, alien, monsterous, angel, demon… hell, if a group needs a dog I'll play it out. I can be lightheaded and humorous, sly and manipulative, cold and calculating, wise and knowledgeable, stupid and oafish… I can go on. If I need an accent and I don't quite know how to write it out, I'll do my research. My word count also depends on the type of post. My average is about 3 or 4 paragraphs, but I go longer if something requires more description, say, if I'm introducing a character or delving into a bit of backstory. I'll go shorter if I'm simply responding to someone in conversation or taking action in a fight. As far as how serious I take it, that depends. If the mood of the story gets too heavy, I may have to add a moment of comedy if it's called for. In fact, I prefer to have humor involved. But it's not a necessity.
My genres:
-Fantasy: whether traditional or modern/unconventional
-Supernatural: love playing the non-humans, but I guess human is okay too.
-Super powers: Hero, villain, support, as long as I have an active role.
-Sci-fi: Well, I am involved in a Star Wars RP forum outside of here. However, I'm not a tech-minded person so don't expect me to get too descriptive on the technological aspects.
-I've never tried the Anime genre but I'm willing to try.
One thing… don't expect to see me in the Forbidden Sanctum. Although I love romance and think a little Netflix-and-chill is okay, I don't get very descriptive as I am far more interested in plot lines and characters. Please do not contact me for sex-based or fetish threads. Thank you.
At some point, if I feel inspired enough, I may run a group game as I have storytold for tabletop groups in the past.
If you want an example of my writing, I'll supply a link below to a thread featuring my Force-sensitive clawdite (a species in the Star Wars universe). A bit of background: She and her new jawa boss are in a junkyard on Coruscant looking for parts to create an impromptu device. Of course, trouble finds them. (I also hopped on as Storyteller to represent the creature.)
