The year is 2018. However, this is an alternate reality. In the year 1999, a race of aliens known as the Gerf came to Earth peacefully, after a tragic storm decimated their planet. There was much skepticism and debate, but finally in August of 2000, a treaty was signed, and the Gerfs we're allowed to become citizens of the planet Earth. back in 2018, it is now December 1st, just a short while away from Christmas break, and also the first day of the new semester, which means new classes. You don't know a whole lot about these aliens, so an opportunity arises when you walk into your first class, and see one of them, sitting in the back of the class, alone...
