I'm looking to start a semi/advanced lit RP set in 1920's NYC, where contractors face off occult threats for profit...with one glaring detail. Their weapons (e.g. guns, pocket knives), a la Soul Eater, have human personalities attached to them, that enhance their efficacy. Particularly cheery ones increase agility, while ones prone to anger may cause bullets to erupt in flame. The catch, though? The process of binding spirits to weapons is extremely painful, imprisoning, lethal, and almost never consensual.
I am a former flapper bound to a weapon you've come to possess, somehow. With no knowledge of how I died, we're more or less forced into partnership. Until...something blossoms between us, as close as moths to a flame, as steamy as a late-night visit to one of those sketchier clubs you've heard about. Is it lust? Love? Neither? That's up to us to find out.
