Oh… hello. Didn't see you there.
You can call me Olli.
I'm a thirty-something working professional with a long-standing passion for collaborative storytelling and roleplay. I've been writing for decades now, having got my start all the way back in the early aughts in early chat rooms, from which I graduated to forums and other formats. I favour writing in third person past tense multi-paragraph, with a focus on emotional nuance, clear and consistent character voice, and a strong sense of tone.
This is my primary hobby, and I do my best to post daily—at least one solid reply per partner, often more if the rhythm is right and we're both around. That said, real life comes first, always. No pressure if your pace varies.
I've amassed quite a few writing samples across the various genres that I enjoy—historical drama, vampires, modern mob stories, fantasy, sci-fi and even superhero stories. If you're after something specific, just ask. I'm usually happy to write something on the fly if you've got a concept and want to see how I'd approach it.
Whilst I'm willing to write just about any sort of character, I am at my best when writing strong, masculine characters. I hope it doesn't come off as bragging when I say I've got a solid grasp on how to depict men with their various idiosyncrasies and ways of thinking. If you've ever been craving for someone who can write a strong, believable male character that'll put your character—male or female—through the paces you may have found him!
If any of this sparks your interest, drop me a line. The chair's warm, the whisky's poured, and there's always room for another story in my life. This goes double if you too are interested in writing some Sword and Sorcery-type stories at the moment. I've got various ideas rolling through my head. Those can best be summed up as my being interested in writing a character in the vein of Conan the Barbarian or Elric of Melniboné for a suitable partner. Alternatively something set in the Forgotten Realms.
Look forward to seeing what we could come up with together!
