Elves would look like the example of Prince Viridian shown, however you are not restricted to the color scheme he depicts, though gold eyes are a requirement. You may choose whatever skin and hair colors you wish, non-natural colors are encouraged

FYI: There is no Oberon, Tatiana, Puck or anyone else you might have met in A Midsummer Night's Dream. Aside from the legend of Tir Na Nog, everything is original.

Except this artwork, I don't know who the artist is, but I love it so much.

Okay, now… onto the story premise:

What if the fey and the eternal land of Tir Na Nog were not fiction at all? What if the magical home of the elves really did exist parallel to our own world beyond an invisible veil?

All in not well however in Tir Na Nog, the great war between nature loving Seelie and the dark and twisted (in more ways than one) Unseelie… the Seelie elves won and pushed what remained of the Unseelie into the shadowed and abandoned far reaches of the Tir Na Nog, locked away behind a magic wall created via the combined efforts of every Seelie elf that remained… this victory however, came with a great cost…

The numbers of the Seelie elves has been startlingly decreased, they have found themselves going from a once proud and glorious kingdom… to an endangered species… Immortal, yes… but now so very few…

Such a lonely existence…

The Seelie Prince, Viridian, has gathered the wisest of the survivors to assist him in figuring out a solution for this troubling circumstance… and one thing is clear, the elves needed new blood if they were going to replenish their numbers, because there were not enough males and females to go around and in-breeding was just quite simply out of the question… so the real question remained? What new blood would they add to the gene pool?

Why… humans, of course… humanoid creatures much like themselves in shape and they know from past dalliances that breeding between the two species was very much possible. Feeding the humans chosen the golden fruit of the Síoraí tree would take care of that pesky mortality.

The most powerful of the elves gathered together where the leylines converge to offer potent magic and they cast a great spell that would transport ideal male and female humans through the veil to Tir Na Nog, plenty to allow each solo elf a mate.

This is where you wake up… disoriented and confused… resting in beds within a stunning palace that makes you think you've somehow stumbled into Middle Earth or something… welcome to Tir Na Nog… ready to meet some elves?

For now, this is going to be very simple and courtship focused, I'll consider adding some cool and fun plot stuff a bit later.
