Hello to anyone reading this! Let me state first that I am not a native speaker so please forgive me for any slight errors in my writing. I am, however, familiar in writing in English and have done some story writing on my own with it. I can also comfortably say that English is almost like a second language to me and I hear it daily more than I do my native language, Finnish.
That said, I started to have an itch for roleplaying some time ago when I moved to a new city and my previous D&D friends were left behind. Since then I have tried to find a way to satisfy my rp addiction but without results. Joining this forum is attempt in trying to do so. In general, I like fantasy but have recently started to take an interest in sci-fi. I also am pretty big history enthusiast so anything history related is cool with me too. I can also enjoy any other type of story or setting as long as the story and the characters are good and compelling.
Edit: What I really like in literature is when I meet complex characters with unique ideas or views on things. Usually that often means villains or anti-heroes (because villainous acts require more justifying than your typical hero character). I have also come across fantasy/sci-fi worlds that are so unique and so detailed that they alone make me want to play in those settings. I am also cooking up few ideas about a fantasy world of my own but that hasn't moved on from the planning phase.
