Hello there! I am Bartimaeus and I am very pleased to meet you. I shall tell you a bit of me. I am 37 years old woman and I've been roleplaying since I was 23. But with huuuge breaks. I mainly played male characters (won't give here more details about how they were, but you can ask if curious) in either MxM or MxF pairings, but mostly first one. I also tried at some point to play a female character but I gave up since I couldn't find a partner to just click with. After many years of hiatus I decided I wanted to try again. A fresh start, as they say. I won't bother with too many other details, unless you're curious. If that's so, than go ahead and ask. I promise I won't bite and I will honestly answer.
Other than that, I love to write, as many of you here. I am not into SF, fandom, canon characters, fantasy and specific worlds. Don't get me wrong, I like fantasy, but I just can't write it. Also, I am the type of roleplayer that loves to slowly go on with the story, build the relationship between the main characters while joggling with support ones. If I find a partner that I feel I click with I could write quite a lot per reply. I am not fond of one line or one two short paragraphs per reply. I feel like I don't get enough to work with. I love inner turmoil, angst maybe, plot twists, whatever makes a story ignite the curiosity to know more, to read next. I don't have preferences on pairings as long as the plot is interesting.
I am also the type of roleplayer that likes to find a theme song for the main character. A song that I usually listen when I read a reply and write one. Helps me get into my character.
English is not my mother language so I might make mistakes. I also have a family wich means I might not be able to reply multiple times a day, but rest assured that if I am unable to reply I will let you know. I am also quite open, understanding yet blunt and honest. If I feel I don't match with my partner I say so. I always thought is better than just ghosting.
