Jumbled
[she/her]
So, hi, I’m Jumbled. Coffee loving, ADHD-oh-look-a-rainbow, site artist. I’m pretty chill when it comes to nicknames, like Jum, Jummy, JumbleBee, and stuff like that.
I’m typically around on site. I guess you'll probably see my name floating up there with the other staff members.
Over the years I've created a bunch of visual experiences for users through art you might notice here on site. I’ve got my pen and tablet, Photoshop running, tunes playing (probably emo, just being real). I aim to make everything aesthetically and visually appealing to the best of my ability. I like making guides, too, because I'm just a weirdo, man, I dunno. I’m constantly imagining the next best way to make it easier for users to navigate and learn, as well as brainstorming fun events to run for the community as a whole. So that's me.
Writing has been one of my true loves since I was twelve years old, maybe younger. I didn’t find forum settings until I was in high school, and since then I’ve never looked back. When I began, I primarily wrote in group settings and found one-on-one stories to be an odd concept. Now I have a true appreciation for plotting with an individual person.

» Character-driven stories that read like a book.
» Romance + Human-centric Fantasy or Dark Fantasy
» 3rd Person, Past Tense, Tons of proof-reading and a pain-in-the-ass typo that will likely sneak in anyway.
» Hopefully one post a week or more, sometimes it might take longer
» World-building
» Discord server for plotting, organization and OOC. It's not a deal breaker, I'll likely make a server in general, even if I'm not joined, because my memory thinks it's cute
(Read as: Forgetful AF)
» You can find my most recent work ( here ) and ( here ) to get a better sense of post styling and lengths with a scroll of the page. I say my posts are usually 800+ words which is like the 2nd page of a word doc. Sometimes it's over that by a good deal, sometimes it's barely there if characters are interacting.
» At least vanilla erotica in my stories when the plot calls for it. I like writing those intimate moments, what a dopamine hit. Anyway, I don't really do ratio stuff, I just try to keep it realistic to the plot and personalities.
» I like writing supporting characters to better fill out a story. Multiple mains or a handful of supporting side-characters. Whatever works.
What I'm offering
I'm here to play a male main character. The themes I stick with are typically action and adventure with romance blossoming somewhere along the way, likely a slow-burn. I don’t aim for my male lead to have overly toxic traits, instead having his own internal struggles he’s working through. Character personalities will depend on the plot and the role.
My plots are more focused on "trying times," magical or divine elements at play, and characters that are navigating the world. They aren't necessarily fucked up people, they're just having a hard
I’m not looking for something super heavy in politics.
No fandoms, no furries.
- 〘 Erotica 〙
-
I do not plot around kinks. Don't read this wrong. I might choose to write a story that is heavy in erotic moments, even early on, but I don't intend to plan out every sexual encounter that turns me on as part of my world-building. The story matters more to me. All I need to know in the beginning is your comfort level when writing sexual encounters, and any triggers you might have. We'll chat as writers, get socially comfortable, world-build, character-build, and then we can dive into some of the specific interactions we want to happen that make sense for the story being written.
Typical sex scenes that I write can go on for several posts. Other times, we may decide to skip the scene and imply what happened in order to keep from feeling repetitive. I'm not looking for a strictly fade-to-black story, but I think I can match styles to keep both of us happy.
I'm currently vibing with a "vanilla + cinnamon" combination. And that flavor silliness is just to say I'd enjoy a balance of sweetness with a deep, sophisticated edge, creating everything from cozy to sensual, dark encounteres. I can go strong, possessive, protective vibes, take charge, and initiate things. I don't much feel like getting into extended Dom/sub play, but there might be little glimpses of a dominating personality here or there.
In general, I can offer this without having to really think about it: Flirting, Teasing, Kissing, Cuddling, Physical Contact, Ropes, Blindfolds, Hand gripping the throat (not actually choking)
I won't step into my own triggers which are mainly degredation and physical abuse.
What I'm seeking in a partner
If you are someone that wants to write a narrative, not seeking an instant gratification romance or some shallow fantasy fulfillment, then we might be a match. I’d prefer someone that will post frequently, like close to once a week or two? Write erotica if the story calls for it (not fade-to-black), keeping sexual descriptions steamy without needing to describe every intimate smell, squishy sound, tangling tongue saliva, or minute details that act as distractions from the feeling of a romantic or lustful encounter. I will stop dead in my tracks if I am reading and a kiss ends with saliva stringing between lips. I just cannot. LOL
I’m hoping for a partner that can match post lengths within reason, that contributes to the plotting and world-building voluntarily, and has good OOC communication. If there is a setting that is more tied to your character’s origin, you should take the lead on how things work (but I’ll still offer ideas and thoughts).
It’s important to me that before you submit a post, you proofread your writing. A quick once-over before you hit submit can make all the difference in a post. If you write, but you’re tired and aren’t sure if it's your best work, sleep on it! Reread it when you’re awake and have the time, then post it with confidence! It’s not about typos, they happen. I’ll make them, too. It’s about the flow and readability, ensuring your post is moving in the right direction when it comes to our plotting.
If you reach out to me, please don't say "I'm interested in this plot" with out telling me more. I want a reason behind it, an idea for how you might change or add to it, why you're excited, and any other thoughts it has inspired. Show me from the start that you're prepared to work with me and have a voice you aren't afraid to use.
Plots
So. I have more plots. I'm not going to post them all here, becaaause... I'm craving this one the most! However, I will link a page of my plots here, too. If you want to browse and see if something really speaks to you, I'd still be cool to have you reach out. 〘 More Plots 〙
The Celestial Apothecary
whimsical fantasy, victorian, magical doors, different realms, charming vibes
Imagine a city that’s in a bustling, industrial age. People work in factories, come home to their flats on a brick lined street with streetlamps burning oil along the walkways. Individuals with personal businesses live directly above their shops, like bakers and hat makers. There aren’t many places to keep a personal garden, but the community has made due with window boxes, where instead of growing flowers, they grow herbs and sometimes vegetables. Nature is practically pushed back to the outskirts of the city aside from the flowery, central park or the river banks. But the city finds ways to bring life and color into it with festivals and fairs, while artists set their canvases up in the park and paint the scenes around them.
And, if you know where to find it, somewhere inside of this city is a door. This door cannot be seen by the general public, hiding somewhere between the third and fourth street lamps on the side of an old brick building. The door appears when there is wish, a great need for magic, or some overwhelming problem that only a potion can solve.
Welcome to the Celestial Apothecary. A shop filled with wondrous glowing vials of potions that can alter emotions, physical strength, and even heal wounds. And for the ambitious artists, there’s even the option for paints that can cause a viewer to feel a chosen emotion when they look at it. These beauties are uniquely distilled from bottled starlight, collected from various stars by the proprietor, and sold for prices befitting of the potion in question.
Don’t think that it is an easy task for this man to bottle up liquid starlight. No, he uses that magical door to enter a realm unlike our own. A place made of shades of black, white and grey, where color never touches the ground unless it comes in from another world. The apothecary strolls their market streets, haggling for glimmers of Orion’s Belt, and dusty light from Sirius. Every star does something unique in his potions, and he is an expert in his craft.
One magical day inside of the shop, the chatter has lulled and business has quieted for the night. Then suddenly a gentle chime of his bell above the door signals a customer. She walks in, browsing, but in a series of strange accidents that typically shouldn’t happen, the woman knocks over and breaks an expensive potion bottle. There is a surge of power, they are the only ones in the shop, and as the lights fade, the apothecary has to decide how to break the news to the woman that she’s just bound their shadows together.
It was one of his stranger potions, volatile and without a quick fix. The person that requested the spell had changed their mind, thinking better of forcing their ex to remain with them. He’d never been against making potions that weren’t entirely good-natured. But the man believed that everything had a way to work out in the end, his potions were crafted for balance and lessons learned, often at the cost of the customer. So when this bottle transported itself into the path of the woman, the same bottle that had been locked away, safely inside of a case where it wouldn’t be disturbed by curious hands, he knew the shop had something in mind for them both.
In this story, I’m excited to play this male lead. For me, it’s got strong vibes from Howl’s Moving Castle. And a bit of Ghibli art, too. The settings they animate are gorgeous, it makes you want it to be real. Anyway.
The apothecary trades questionable things for starlight. The night realm where there’s no color is full of creatures that seem pretty neutral. They seek the warmth of life in the cold world they exist within. Sometimes their prices are a jar of laughter, or a fond memory he’ll never get back. They could ask for him to give up the ability to see a specific color for a day, so instead of blue he sees grey.
I’m looking for someone to play the female in this story. She could be a return customer, or she could have wandered in for the very first time. She had a problem she wanted to solve, but instead, she stumbled into a spell that bound her to the man in charge. He tells her she’s unfortunately stuck with him until he can craft an antidote for them to separate. Her problems might still be her own, but perhaps this bonding is solving some part of her situation at the same time, a deeper hidden issue she didn’t realize she had.
I’d say they can exist within a certain distance of one another, but if either of them try to move any farther, either they can’t seem to move their legs, or maybe it pulls the other one along like dragging a dog on a leash. Very open to plotting more on this, and keeping it more of a lighthearted story that feels cozy and whimsical, at times even silly.
