Welcome
I'm Whisky and it's a pleasure to meet you. For the sake of your valuable time you'll find a bullet list below this that will serve to inform both of us if this is worth your read.
TL;DR: Orc bores you to death with a overly long and explanative search thread.
Expectations and Standards:
What I'm Seeking:
In less formal fashion, primarily I'm seeking out people that enjoy writing. A joke in itself given that if you are here you probably do—what I mean is a having an interest in potraying characters and focusing primarily on how they develop, conflict, and adapt to the worlds and situations they find themselves in. From the mundane to the extraordinary, dramatically I'd like to regard it as a 'collision of souls'. Grandiose adventures to save the world, defeat a threat, to solve some mystical and forlorn mystery: while entertaining I'm more interested in the tale we weave from the characters themselves. Examples akin to the traveling stoic merchant and their hot-headed bodyguard, the honor bound knight and conniving sorcerer, the nomadic gloryseeking warrior and the prim and proper princess—pairings in a way but without worrying too much of a greater and prophesied role or story and more about their lives. Each has a goal, wishes, desires, whims and hatreds, worries; I enjoy writing on how they translate and deal with such circumstances against those similar or the polar opposite.
That and I like writing about it in fictitious worlds overflowing ( or implied ) of different races, cultures, and civilizations that influence varied creeds and codes. There is not an expectation to write everything about the world, but to use the implication to influence a level of immersion that can give wild, strange, or simply exotic views and mindsets and situations a plausible reality. I'm not that much of a stickler for everything needs to make sense, as you'll discover, but it is one of those things I enjoy. If I find a partner interested I'd absolutely love creating multiple threads and creating our own pseudo-worlds, but that is an if and not an expectation. Even if it's a short lived but amusing story, I'll enjoy myself and I'd like to meet others who would too.
General Interests:
In attempt to make this relatively short: I like stories that have combined elements of both noblebright and grimdark. Idyllic villages just miles away from brutal and unchecked warfare, of two strangers enjoying a heartfelt conversation beside a fireside as a plague ravages the countryside, of long lost lovers rekindling their passion while living a life as a macabre killers. I like variety and the implication that in the worlds we roleplay in, nothing is ever exactly the same over the fence. Particularly I like in these scenarios the dance of characters with complexity, those who may be a mixture of both good and bad in a simple sense. I like them flawed, I like it when they are both altruistic and selfish, both empathetic and numb. I love when they make the worst decision thinking it's the best and when greed inadvertently makes them a hero. It's easy to make our characters seem perfect or heavily adept, especially given retrospect and time to properly consider those actions. A character that feels interesting, to me, is very much based not upon the merit of it's actions and choices but the humanity of which is encompasses as it makes them.
I'm not against it, in fact I've written a great deal of it in the past on sites such as F-list. There is however a desire for stories to be more story-centric. I do believe smut and story can exist in unison, but often it requires the right writers and setup. In fact I love tales veiled by eroticism, but again it needs a proper tempo. Whether it be as a vessel to further or distinguish a relationship between characters or as a backdrop, I'm all for it's inclusion. Be it raunchy or subtle descriptions, I'm game for your preference and have no problems implementing most kinks you have. The thing is, I want it to be used to further the dynamic between characters or to highlight things like one's promiscuity or nonchalance of sex—dancing with corrupting another or a destruction of purity or the 'completion' it gives to two lustful souls.
Regarding my exact desires, if you're specifically curious, I'm a BDSM fiend from a dominant perspective. I won't include such if you're not interested and frankly I don't mind—I'm here to write about characters and context. My satisfaction is from just writing. However if you're a mutual of the desire or are curious, feel free to ask me about it and I will elaborate.
Familiar Settings:
A list of settings I'm willing to mess around with. Knowledge varies but I'm willing to research.
These are mostly idea starters, not the end all be all of a an RP. Mix and match and suggest tweaks to your preference. I'm not the biggest fan of these but they will suffice until I list proper ideas. An asterisk will indicate a semblance of plot.
Another approach, perhaps you may have a character you've been dying to play? Maybe they are one you want to see happy, to see suffer, or to simply get a chance to actually just write as them? Feel free to pitch them and I'm more then willing to consider coming up with an idea.
Closing Remarks:
I thank you for reading this far and taking the time to do so, it's a lot to take in. I actually tried to make it shorter but the length I felt was needed for clarity. I know what I'm looking for and hopefully this gives you a pretty solid picture. If your interests match please do message me via a private message to discuss the possibility of writing together. I'm open to any questions, concerns, whatever may be itching at your mind. Beyond the means of contact, I simply ask you come to me with a modest idea of what you want, what you're seeking, and any other neat facts I should know that are handy. Until then, have a wonderful day.

- An understanding of english and grammar ( I'm comfortable as long as it's legible ).
- A desire to write in medieval fantasy settings ( can be relatively low fantasy/tech akin to Sword and Sorcery or high fantasy/tech akin to Final Fantasy ).
- Willingness or desire to use artistic or anime references ( descriptions can work though visuals included are appreciated ).
- Willingness or desire to aid in cooperative world-building, preferably of a dynamic ( as it's needed and as we go ) style.
- An interest in mature themes ( not inherently sexual but in regards to content of violence, traumatic situations, strong language, etc ).
- An understanding of variable posting times due to obligations outside of writing.
- A modest passion and enthusiasm for writing in general.

- Conflict: Ideologies, culture, way of life, the collision of opposing goals; I like the fire to burn and I like it to burn brilliantly. The boiling of blood be it in moments of rage, of thrill, of despair, or even cheeky contest—the more the merrier. Not all can solve things with words and discussions and even then the pen is just a makeshift dagger.
- Angst: Succumbing, embracing, or adapting and overtaking—taking a character away from it's comfort and testing the durability of it's strings is amusing. Maybe it learns something, maybe it doesn't. Maybe it falls to madness, maybe it develops co-dependency or maybe it becomes stronger.
- Romance: While it may be shocking for one who enjoys more darker things, I love romance. My favorite, however, is the toxic kind. Unrequited love, abusive relationships, unions purely made out of selfish gain that develop romanticized kinship; if they shouldn't fall in love I probably actually want them to. Fluffy and pure situations are on the table, but I do enjoy when it's a bit convoluted.
- Dark/Mature Themes: As a sensitive topic I won't go exceptionally far into it without a writer of the same desire, but I like to write about life's ugly backside. The easiest to mention is things akin to addiction, conflicts of race and gender, abuse, disturbing situations and what not. Honestly just think of some of the things you've seen in Game of Thrones and we're on the right path. Erotic themes with be covered in a separate section.
- Power Struggles and Dynamics: Situations and characters who's rank in society or prowess gives them a level of authority or strength to exercise over others. The dilemmas of a noble vying for power while dealing with fellow regal competition, a king and it's trials and tribulations in leading his fellow man, to even situations wherein classes in society have a decreed divide and the characters tow the line in both survival and pursuit of happiness.

- Cheesecake And Fanservice: An honorable mention, one thing I always enjoy ( ironically given my desire for realistic reactions and understandable points of origin ) is the guilty little pleasures we put into our stories and characters. I'm a classic sort, I love the appeal of things for simply the sake of it. Women gifted in size of hips and bosom, heels, attire more appealing then practical. Even the men, if not athletic and toned frames then some ranging herculean, Conan-esque masculinity; heroic variations of male and female that emphasize apex. I like over the top fighting, things that make historians laugh but force me to awe. I like physics for flesh that doesn't make sense, I like situations comical yet erotic like clothing malfunction or awkward landings. If you're not into BDSM but want in some way to have a mutual exchange with me tending to your wishes, this is the best way. That and the less then erotically inclined, such as grandiose armor, impossible architecture, so on and so fourth. That and I have a thing for drows and kitsunes, but that's just a filthy guilty pleasure.
