Hello, My name is Salix. [they/he/sometimes any]

Some things about me: I've mostly done tabletop style RP with friends and in the past participated in RP forums via gaiaonline. I'm admittedly rusty in my writing and RP and would love to find someone who's a bit relaxed in their approach, and patient.

I can reliably write two to three paragraphs, varies depending on energy levels. but if i'm into something i can write quite a bit.

My availability is typically one to two days a week reliably. I'm currently collecting a few ideas i'd be most interested in, but i welcome suggestions. typically i prefer RP's not based around fandoms or movies/tv shows [though i'm open if the RP isn't hinging heavily on cannon characters]. Grammar isn't always a deal breaker for me, as i'm a child of the internet and someone who's brain often moves faster than their mouth or hands can act. So long as we can both understand the story together capitalization, spelling or punctuation mistakes don't bother me.

The Role Play Idea:

1. Fantasy Noir - A modern type setting where magic and tech are common place. strange disappearances lead to a cult claiming they can make your magical heritage disappear. mystery/crime solving. missing persons.

investigator, investigator x cultist, investigator x client

2. Altered Carbon - Syfy setting, in a world where the human mind can be downloaded, bodies fully synthetic, modable. i'm thinking either a love story: lovers separated in an accident or some other means and slowly finding their way back together through investigation, or through fate, without realizing they're falling back in love with their original lover they thought they had lost forever.
Or go fully traditional and be a pair of bad ass investigators that are hired to unravel the mystery behind the murder of a well known billionaire.

Gore and smut: I am happy to explore both but would prefer plot to be the majority of the story say minimum 70%

gore: i typically prefer to be described only if it's necessary for the plot. Drawn out visceral details and violence are not my jam.
Kinks: humiliation, bondage/rope, roleplay, knife play, public, and probably others. I'm pretty open to exploring kink but lets talk it out together ooc before introducing things too fast.

A little extra:
I am partial to queer pairings, either MxM, FxF or TxT.

I like to talk ooc, come up with cute little side plots and comedic inserts. I also love to draw so if you like to draw OC's and little comics of our characters I think we'd really hit it off.

I can play any gender and am open to other rp's either mundane or fantasy settings. I really am just hoping to write more and make friends along the way!

My Character Idea:

Felkis

Trans nonbinary, 30yo, minor magic limited to plant growth, healing and protection

Deep olive complexion, Dark Brown hair, Brown eyes,

scent: Red spiced fruit and warm amber

Manager at a local plant/flower and sundries shop.

wow, okay, hi. my name's Apolo, and that's actually my first comment on this site (I'm so sorry if i sound nervous). i saw your idea and i would love to rp with you, if you don't mind the fact that i started writing just a couple of months ago and that English isn't my first language.
here's a character profile that just popped into my head when reading your idea.

William Diok, 30, cis male, who's still stuck in university (with a master's degree in geography, now studying education). he was having struggles with the tuition fees, and took some loans from the wrong people, which led him to this... peculiar line of work. he doesn't mind the fact that his job is to murder people, as long as he's paid well, and can keep studying.

i don't mind adding an element of magic to the story, but i couldn't really think on where to place it, so whatever.

if you don't find the idea interesting feel free to offer changes (or deny me completely haha)

Hey, no worries, Apolo! I have only made a handful of posts myself and haven't really started an RP yet either. Just tossed around ideas or submitted my own stories.

I really like your character idea, and think our characters could have a pretty interesting story built between them. Honestly taking away Osiers power and just making them a plant enthusiast who just had a passion to start their little struggling business is so doable. A person of few words with an intimidating presence [honestly thinking it could be that they are deaf or mute] but yeah. Maybe the shop is close to the university or is local to Williams route to school etc could be the tie in for their crossing of paths?

If you'd like to talk more feel free to send me a DM. Tell me a bit about what you're RP style is like, limits and such. We can see if we're a good fit and talk more about the story. thanks for your interest. I'll look forward to hearing back.
