Background: An EVE baby is what Isabella is called. A child made within a laboratory to satisfy the needs of a wealthy couple dedicated to science who could not conceive a child naturally. Spliced DNA from both her parents, and donors created Isabella. She was one of many EVE children however with all procedures came complications. Her parents knew the risks and when they found out their daughter was born with male genitalia.
The company offered the option for abortion but her father declined as did her mother, the couple had wanted a child for so long and nearly spent their entire fortune to conceive Isabella. They were simply happy to be given the gift of new life and her father found his daughter to be unique in terms of biology. But being a couple focused on science they quickly found new studies and adventures in outer-planets leaving their daughter behind.
Instead, private tutors, nannies and given anything she desired from her father but the love she needed from her parents. No fault of her fathers as his work became a priority and her mother rarely engaged with her daughter. In their absence she developed a kinship with animals and took a great interest in zoology. Specifically that of the outer worlds as humans began to expand so did the categories of animal life forms. Isabella attended the NOAH Programme, researching different species in impossible environments and micro-organisms that thrived.
During the programme her risky behavioural traits took her to mingle with less-reputable individuals involved in X-1 Racing. Taking stolen or modified ships to sling-shot across a planet regardless of risk category and level of hazards. At the height of her racing, drug use and gambling, she overdosed on Nitro. One by one her organs began to fail and her parents became aware of Isabella's spiral.
They removed her from the NOAH programme and she was placed in rehab. A few months without seeing them, she received a message from her parents that they would be leaving for a colony. The highly controversial planet of great interest across the system. They spoke of promising new research on cell-mutation and its effects on DNA due to the unique planets biome.
She begged her parents for a place to join them in their voyage, a clean start and promise to show she was not a failure in their eyes. Her father fearing for the safety of his daughter refused her request instead they ensured she would be taken care of and when she matured a place would be held for her at the colony when it was deemed safe. At minimum she would not see them for 20+ years and bribed one of the cargo loaders to help her stowaway on border.
The results of her discovery were that of a furious father and mother.
