It has been a while since I last role played and the first time in a setting like this site. At the moment I am looking for role plays that are about character development and how they deal with different circumstances. In them, I would like to explore romantic relationships including sex of a more dark nature that include power transfer, bondage and mild pain. I don't want to make however the sexual the main focus and will spend significant time on challenges facing our characters outside of their relationship. I prefer to write from a male perspective and of heterosexual pairings however I am open to suggestions especially with secondary npc characters.
I am not looking for extreme violent role play however if it serves the story I won't shy away from it. I won't roleplay beastialiy, or cruelty and humiliation.
As of post length, I will write more than one paragraph and expect my writing partner to do the same. While RP is a great escape from life, life is still there. There will be days I can pen multiple replies but there could also be a week in between. I will make an effort to let you know when a reply may be a while and expect the same in return.

Some plots I have been thinking about.
Spam (Slice of live MxF)
Reading my spam folders subjects the other day the idea came to me that it would be an interesting exercise to write a story based on that. One night light a man feeling lonely realizes replies to one of the emails he received.
The email address who had been spoofed of course does belong to an equally lonely woman.
Both take the emails as role play staying in character but at the same time start looking forward to the messages of the other. It does fill some of the voids in their lives.
This becomes apparent when one of them suddenly stops replying and then after a couple of weeks of returns without explanation.
In this plot I would like to play with suppressed dominant kinky desires of my character, I am talking about power exchange, bondage, sensory and mild pain nothing past light bruises.
Innkeeper (Fantasy/medieval MxF)
In this plot, I would like my character to be a retired soldier who has bought an Inn. It is a lovely Inn and must have cost a lot. He is in his early 30s and never made past sergeant so it is unclear where the money came from. He is dark, moody and does not talk much.
The setting can be anywhere anytime. I am looking for a female who stirs up his neat little life. This could be someone looking for a job and who is taken in. It could be a traveller hiding from her past, or being pursued by it. It could even be the daughter of the previous owner of the in who would like to be able to buy the Inn back and run it.
