Greetings! I am Rae, but I also go by Penguin or Pigeon. I am a writer who has been roleplaying (off and on) since my high school days. My first experience with online roleplaying was through the old AOL chatrooms and I have been doing it ever since. I currently live in Texas with my fiance, our cat (her name is Spaz), and my cousin and her husband. I am currently unemployed, but I am seeking employment, preferably from home. I have a whole host of mental and physical ailments that affect me on the daily (anxiety and depression, along with generalized pain) so I can’t give a definite time of my availability. I spend too much time at home on my computer, whether it’s playing games, listening to music, writing, or watching videos on YouTube. I enjoy reading when I can and have been reading mostly historical fiction novels of the Tudor Era of England. Outside of historical fiction, I enjoy fantasy novels, as well. I have a deep love for ACOTAR and Harry Potter, both which I roleplay as well.
I enjoy music and some of it actually plays a role in my roleplays. I am willing to try anything at least once to see if I like it and have a huge playlist that I use specifically for writing (most of it is background music from movies/tv shows/video games).
As far as video games go, I play Dragon Age and Mass Effect, as well as Ascension WoW, Phasmophobia, Skyrim, and Fallout (though I haven’t played the last two in a while). I have also played Overwatch, but my computer can’t run it anymore. Dragon Age and Mass Effect are two of my favorites, as they are the games that mostly got me back into gaming in the first place.
I enjoy making new friends with my fellow roleplayers, and I hope that we can be friends as well.

Grasp of the English language (spelling and grammar) are a must. I don’t require perfection, and I don’t require my partner to be a native English speaker. Just someone that does understand and can read/write in English fairly well.
Male or female OOC, because I’m not really tied to the gender of my partner. As long as they are able to write what I’m needing/wanting, I’m not too focused on what’s in their pants.
MUSIC. I’ve said before that music plays an important part in my roleplays and it does. A lot of my characters are musically inclined and I would love for that to show in the roleplay as well. Songs that come up or pieces of music that they hear/play.
Pinterest is not a hard requirement, but I will share what I find and still create a board for our roleplay. If only for my peace of mind.

After all, the Guardians weren’t meant to be bodyguards or even guards for regular humans: they were to keep the peace between humans and the supernaturals that roamed the city.
But he soon realized that this wasn’t just a simple assignment. His charge was something else entirely, even if she didn’t realize it. Keeping an eye on her was going to be difficult. Then again, he was always up for a challenge.

Not that the rumors stopped any would-be ghost hunters. Most went into the house with little to no knowledge of the whole history. Often, some came back out again, scared out of their wits and stammering. Others simply never returned, vanishing into the darkness of the house and adding to its mystery.

Growing up in her uncle's home, she didn't have too many happy memories, if at all. She kept to herself as best as she could, taking care of herself because no one else would. He gambled away nearly everything that he had on what he was assured was "a sure thing". He was up to his ears in debt with no light at the end of the tunnel. But the people he owed money approached him with a proposal: give them something of equal value, and they would forget the debt. Perhaps his daughter or someone else in her place.
Sakina was forced to pay her uncle's debt, with Sebastian signing the documentation that would mean she belonged to this men/men. And with his debt cleared wholly, Sebastian walked away, leaving his niece to whomever - whatever - had offered him the deal.

Somehow, the siblings found one another, despite circumstances keeping them apart for years. Taliesin wasn’t even fully sure how Rinori had found him. She had seen the Amell signet on a cord around his neck and had immediately known what it was. It had surprised him, certainly, but he had been wary as well. Until she correctly identified him – “Tal” – and shared her story. Or what of it she would give to him: that she had been taken to Ferelden when she exhibited magic, that their siblings – there were others! – were out there somewhere.
And…that’s when she’ll shut down and not say anything more. He’s learned not to push things. But now he has a complication in his life: someone to care for when – previously – it had just been him. Not that he’s upset by it, but…that means keeping them both away from the Templars and being sent to the Circle. Or worse.

Riona thought she had left Hogwarts behind. Once upon a time – just shortly after her eighteenth birthday – she had attended the University. She had looked forward to learning more magic and becoming something more than just a half-blood whelp. Her first year, however, was a disaster. She left the school without looking back, abandoning everything after just one year.
She traveled the world, learning magic from different people. Her travels brought her to the lands of her father’s people, where she learned their arts and became an adept alchemist among her own people. But four years later, she was being summoned back to Hogwarts: Dumbledore wanted her as an assistant to one of the professors. The very same one that had caused her to leave the school in the first place: Severus Snape.
She was tempted to burn the letter and forget that she had ever received it. Pretend that it never happened. But a part of her was curious. So she packed her bags to return to Hogwarts, just to see what would happen.

Set in an AU where Hogwarts is a University for advanced magics. Students begin their first year at eighteen/nineteen years old. Set in place of the books, where the events still play out with slight adjustments. Rules of the school remain as they are, even though students are adults. Hogwarts is, after all, charmed and warded so that students can still use magic, but it’s restricted to the classrooms and other such areas.

Riona thought she had left Hogwarts behind. Once upon a time – just shortly after her eighteenth birthday – she had attended the University. She had looked forward to learning more magic and becoming something more than just a half-blood whelp. Her first year, however, was a disaster. She left the school without looking back, abandoning everything after just one year.
She traveled the world, learning magic from different people. Her travels brought her to the lands of her father’s people, where she learned their arts and became an adept alchemist among her own people. But four years later, she was being summoned back to Hogwarts: Dumbledore wanted her as an assistant to one of the professors. The very same one that had caused her to leave the school in the first place: Severus Snape.
She was tempted to burn the letter and forget that she had ever received it. Pretend that it never happened. But a part of her was curious. So she packed her bags to return to Hogwarts, just to see what would happen.

Set in an AU where Hogwarts is a University for advanced magics. Students begin their first year at eighteen/nineteen years old. Set in place of the books, where the events still play out with slight adjustments. Rules of the school remain as they are, even though students are adults. Hogwarts is, after all, charmed and warded so that students can still use magic, but it’s restricted to the classrooms and other such areas.

She doesn’t remember how she got there to begin with. Her memories of her past life – who and what she had been before – were scrubbed clean and replaced with new memories. Of belonging to the three Overlords that held her chains, specifically the one known as Vox. The collar around her serves as a binding, making sure she’s forever tied to the Demon that “found her”.
In reality, she was summoned: a young woman from the living world, summoned to Hell by an overly ambitious Demon. He bound her powers to her name and stole it from her, replacing it with one of his own: Mute. He robbed everything from her and gave her a new identity. Mute: the fox-faced siren that found a new power in song. At the back of her mind, she knows she’s not supposed to be there, but-...
And now, she’s on a new task, one that Vox gave her specifically: go to the Hazbin Hotel and watch. And if anything changes, tell him and only him.

Two different stories and characters. Mute is a young woman that shouldn’t be where she was. Summoned from the human world and bound to a Demon. She’s unique in a lot of ways and will bring into question what’s known and what isn’t.
Emily is a favorite character from the series, and the idea of her mirroring Lucifer’s fall is just kismet. Her finding a place in the hotel is very much likely, especially with her ties and her friendship with Charlie. Both women I would love to pair with Alastor, for different but similar reasons.

The destruction of the Normandy was broadcast across all channels. Not the actual destruction itself, but the news. Commander Shepard was a goddamn war hero and had faced the Geth as well as the rogue Spectre that had commanded them.
Now? They were dead.

Moving from place to place was dangerous. It was why Rayne took over her mother’s old plantation. The antebellum house was renovated over the years that she lived there, fixed up so that she could live and work there without taking up much room. Her workshop and central security hub was built off the kitchen, where the old dining room was. Her bedroom became part of it, a cot set up in one corner of the room.
But there was a danger of remaining in one place, too. Those that knew her mother and father – that hunted down her father – knew where they could find her. And the dangers that came from her father’s work would follow her.

Overwatch actively seeks out Rayne, hoping to recruit her to imitate her father’s work. But others are seeking her out, too. And they aren’t as friendly.
