Dancer/Singer x Law Student
This one takes place in Nashville, M/C is a broken-hearted single dad whose girlfriend died during childbirth 5 years ago while the two of them were in college now he is about to graduate law school. Y/C is a dance and singing major at the consortium that is part of the same university that houses the Law school. She goes to the law school for help with a legal issue and that is where a slow burn begins but Y/C does not know about the kid.
Minor League Pitcher x Girlfriend or Wife
M/C and Y/C have been together since college and then their senior year he got drafter and got a nice sized signing bonus that they used to buy a house, a couple of cars, and other things to celebrate what was sure to be a good life for the two of them. Fast forward 4 years later and M/C is still floating around the minor leagues (which does not pay much) and the money from the signing bonus is running out causing strife between the two.
Vampire x Werewolf (A modern fantasy Romeo/Juliet twist)
Y/C is from a rich vampire family, M/C is from a poor Werewolf family. The two of us have grown up in the same small town not being able to stand each other nor did they know each other's secrets. Fast forward to after high school and the werewolf claims on the vampire after running into her on the street. Shenanigans begin
Cop x Girlfriend or Wife (and former victim of a crime)
Y/C is was the victim of a crime some time ago and still struggles with the mental and emotional turmoil from it. M/C is one of the cops who worked the case and is frequently teased by the other cops for being romantically involved with a Y/C.
The following are storylines where I would be willing to bend my rules on story/smut ratio
Good guy Cop x Evil Witch
Y/C is an evil witch/villainous who loves to create chaos using her arsenal of spells and charms (and also making herself very very rich), her favorite being a pendant she has that hypnotizes mortals and lets her re-arrange there minds/hearts as she pleases. M/C is a cop she runs into and starts to use but eventually develops feelings for and making her want to stop being bad (obviously this happens slowly).
