• Greetings to you, curious reader. You can call me any variation of my current username, or you can call me Lotus. I'm a genderfluid writer, aged twenty-eight, and my pronouns are he / she / they. Though, any pronouns you want to use is equally welcome. I'm really not all that picky about that. I've been in the roleplaying scene for roughly fifteen years and I consider myself fairly literate, when it comes to writing. That doesn't mean there's no room for improvement, of course. If you ask my opinion, there's always room to learn and grow, even if your skills are unmatched.
  
  I consider myself a very easy-going person and there's very little one can do to anger me or offend me. I enjoy chatting with my roleplaying partners and value communication during all phases of our collaboration. Be it the plotting phase, during or even after the story has concluded. Even if we're not actively writing, you're more than welcome to invade my inbox and start a conversation. I'll just warn you now, that I'm quite the rambler and enjoy sending long paragraphs talking about my interests. I hope you will tell me about yours too. I'm a huge fan of Genshin Impact, but I also play Overwatch in my free time. I'm familiar with several other games and I'm always looking for new ones to expand my list. So don't be afraid to recommend your personal favourites.​

• ▍ All characters, regardless of fandom, will be 18+ during the story. I'm not looking to get myself in trouble. And frankly, I have no interest in dabbling with underage characters, unless they're an NPC, who lends to the story.
  
  ▍ I typically write around 300 - 1000 words per post. This can be adjusted according to the story, your preferences, etc. That being said, I would rather not go lower than 300, which is a decent post length that will not exhaust you, while still retaining all the necessary information for the plot to move forward. Absolutely no one liners ! I'm sorry, but if you send me one line per response, I will most likely drop the story. I want some feeling and detail in there to keep me going. I will probably not go over 1000 words, or dabble with novella because it's simply exhausting for me to do so and it will make replying very slow and very tedious.
  
  ▍ I can be a slow replier at times. That depends on my schedule in real life. Sometimes I can craft replies back to back, while others, I may need a week or longer to get a decent reply out. My goal is to respond to each story once a week, at least. If you feel like that's a very long waiting time, we may simply not be compatible as writing partners. That said, if you request for me to write with you, or agree to write with me, you acknowledge this rule and consent to it. Please, don't pressure me if I'm taking longer than you would like.
  
  ▍ Ghost friendly. While I won't ask questions if you suddenly ghost me, other than checking in on you and whether you're alright, a heads up is always appreciated. I understand that sometimes, the story isn't up to your standards, your interests shift, or you're simply not feeling it anymore. Personally, I will always let my writing partner know, if more time is needed to reply, or if I want to drop the story for one reason or another. I tend to be forgetful with starters and replies, so if you think I may have forgotten about ours, feel free to give me a heads up.
  
  ▍ Fandoms & original settings. I do both, depending. My list of fandoms is fairly limited and my interests shift as I consume new content, but always feel free to ask about a fandom I've expressed interest in. My number one is always Genshin Impact, but that doesn't mean other fandoms aren't welcome. If you're not a fan of fandoms, don't fret. I'm also open to entirely original settings. Be it historical, modern, slice of life, etc. All you need to do is ask me.
  
  ▍ Roleplaying genres. I mostly write romance and I'd like to keep it that way. Platonic dynamics bore me, for the most part because I'm a romantic at heart. I will only write platonic relationships in a group setting, if I ever join one of those. Frankly, I'm too busy and too slow to keep up, so that's not very likely to happen.
  
  ▍ Dynamics. I typically write MxM stories and that will always be my favourite dynamic. However, I'm very much open to discussing MxF, as long as I'm writing the female character. I have written a male character in a MxF dynamic and I'm honestly very picky when I do that and will likely only agree to it, if you're my friend and I'm comfortable doing so with you. FxF is generally not within my interests and the likelihood of me agreeing to it is very low.
  
  ▍ About erotic content. I enjoy it as much as the next person, but will generally not make it the focus of my stories. If it happens, it happens. I'm not a fan of fading to black, but I may agree to it. I generally prefer writing submissive characters, but I'm not against discussing switches or writing a dom once in a while. Writing a dom is a rarity for me, so don't bet on it. For more information on erotic content, refer to the third tab. ​
• I apologise about the most likely boring guidelines tag, but it's a must to explain my way of functioning within the community and set down some boundaries. This section will be all about fandoms, characters and fun stuff.
  
  ONE. Like I said, I do enjoy fandom roleplay and there's several fandoms I'm into. Keep in mind, that this list will be adjusted once in a while because my interests shift. Also keep in mind that sometimes, I won't be interested in a fandom I generally enjoy, so take this list with a grain of salt.

Ones I will definitely not write, regardless, are Dragonball, Hazbin Hotel / Helluva Boss, Undertale, Marvel / DC and Star Wars. I'm also not familiar with any version of Final Fantasy, which seems popular nowadays, but if you wish to write a character from the fandom in a modern AU, or an Isekai setting, I'm willing to discuss. Just keep in mind I'm clueless on the lore, characters, etc.

  TWO. Original settings are a lot more flexible, as we don't have to rely on a fandom or a pre-made plot. I generally don't enjoy very extensive world building, where I need a reference whenever I write my reply, but I may occasionally agree to it. I'm a huge fan of historical settings ( ie. London in the 1800's ), but that doesn't mean I won't write modern settings. I also enjoy simple slice of life. Be it in our current era, or an era like the 80's / 90's. I'd say I'm open to discussing pretty much anything, aside from a few things.

  THREE. I write both canon and original characters, whether in fandom or original settings. I enjoy CCxCC, OCxOC and CCxOC dynamics. Though I'm very picky with the last one because I usually have specific ships I enjoy for my canon characters. Nevertheless, you're free to suggest your OC's and we can discuss further to see if our characters would make a good match. I also enjoy writing my own OCs against my favourite canon characters, but I think everyone enjoys doing that.

  In terms of kinks, I'm open to discussing yours and seeing if we can somehow incorporate them into our roleplay. Let me know what you're into, what you want to see, etc. The worst that can happen is me saying no. Other than that, I consider myself fairly vanilla during the act, but there are some light kinks I enjoy. Such as toys, light bondage, biting, marking, breeding, omegaverse ... Feel free to ask for specifics via messages, if you're looking to write an erotic roleplay.
