Greetings and salutations, everyone!
Right. To business. I'm Rylek, and you are? Nice to meet you. Having a good day? Me as well. Excellent! Introductions are done!
But that's still pretty insubstantial for a proper introduction thread. So I'll go ahead and say a bit about myself. To start with, I'm a 22 year old guy from across the pacific who works in the medical field. In my spare time, I have a number of hobbies. I knit, play the guitar and sing (or at least attempt to), draw, practice MMA, write, play vidya games, RP, and binge watch television series.
In terms of RP experience, I've got about twelve years under my belt. I first started off with classic tabletop RPGs like D&D, VtM and Cyberpunk 2020 when I was but a wee lad, but only got into play by post RPing around 2011-ish. I took a rather long hiatus from roleplaying due to college and life itself getting in the way of it all, but I finally decided to get back into it around December of last year.
Not proud to say, but I've seen and survived the death and/or destruction of almost 5 different roleplay sites now, and the most recent one at that was Dream Realms. That itself is a shame, because through that forum I managed to find the one RP and writing partner that fully convinced me that it was worth the time and effort to get back into writing. I went by the username of BombingBoats on that forum, but I highly doubt anyone really knew me save for that one particular partner. Regardless of that, I'll be sure to pop in the Immigration Roster and put up my name there as well just in case.
With all that, I look forward to RPing with you all and getting involved with all the wonderful stories and characters here.
