Hi all,
I’ll get straight to the point: I’m looking for a longer-term, slower-paced game. I can usually manage a reply once a day, though life as a working adult sometimes gets in the way. If that happens, I’ll always let you know in advance.
I’ve been roleplaying for about 11 years (started when I was 16), and I like to think I’ve picked up a thing or two along the way. I write cleanly, without AI assistance, and I’m also happy to chat outside the game if that’s your style.
I have a definite soft spot for romance—yes, even the guilty-pleasure kind, whether it’s enemies-to-lovers or something dripping with cliché. Smut is welcome but by no means expected or required. My characters are more about messy feelings than steamy scenes; I tend to gravitate toward “boyfailures” who struggle with emotions, intimacy, and attachment. They can range from a bullied high schooler to an emotionally stunted, touch-starved monster hunter.
I enjoy a wide emotional range in stories—I love a good dose of sadness or angst, but not to the point where it smothers everything else. At heart, I’d call myself “spicy vanilla”: capable of leaning darker or heavier when the character calls for it, but balanced by lighter moments.
As for settings, I’m especially drawn to historical pieces (WWII, Victorian, etc.), modern fantasy, or classic fantasy.
What I value most in a writing partner: someone who communicates openly, isn’t afraid to say if something feels off, and writes with enthusiasm. Length is less important than engagement—but the more you give me to work with, the happier I am. Above all, I want us both to enjoy ourselves.
Take care!
