@ThatOneGuy Oh, I did notice one thing though. Jeb needs something covering his face. at -75, exposed skin will develop frostbite after a few minutes, and eyes WILL freeze. As night draws closer, the temperature is going to drop to around -100 celcius, which will just kill anything that isn't in some kind of thermalized shelter.

@ThatOneGuy I'd suggest you read up a bit as already there has been a severe storm which is hitting in waves which gradually will get worse over time, 1, how did your character survive the first deadly wave of the storm? Give a bit of a read through.
@Cheshire Cat , just asking where abouts is Beacon in comparison to the surrounding frozen cities? I can do up a basic map of 'Zones' of where the most dangerous <aka cold> and more based from where Beacon is and Corks Hide aways are. feel free to edit,
The Map - This is Approx with some math.
Distance from Corks first shelter is 4 hours out- twenty kilometers.
Green Zone spans anywhere from 40 - 60 km
Yellow is more around the 80 - 100 Km
Anything above this is in the Red Zone <Light red.>
The dead zone, is the darkred essentially off the zone of what the Map Beacon has of the area.
Beacon is situated in the center Dot.
Corks first shelter is 4 hours out in a collapsed plane buried in snow <reason why its there is ambiguous, could have crashed or been dumped. But unless one was advised of what to look for, it would be hidden. >
Feel free to add to it Cheshire, at least this can give a sense of where things are etc.

Hokay, home from work *cracks knuckles* (EDIT: as in ... I'm about to start typing ... on ma keyboard.) So, New Galiano is the frozen city, and Beacon is one of 40 colonies in an area of about 5000km squared, 77km N/S, 65km E/W roughly. Beacon, the largest and most protected colony, is located in the industrial harbour, frozen in the ocean about a hundred metres from the dock. The next colony is only like ... 10-15 kilometres away. Between the colonies is the frozen city of New Galiano, rusted and frozen and broken. PAST Beacon, going west, is the open ocean.
Remember, when in doubt, check the setting post for information, I was rather thorough ^_^
EVERYONE ELSE! A few slips in posting order are fine. The general rule is "wait for the majority of people in your scene to post" solely because I don't want anyone left behind ... also, working so many projects at the same time, I don't want to be left behind :p I do apologize if the slower pace bothers anyone, I have a tendency to get in over my head with projects :p
EDIT: At a quick check, the majority would be 4 or more people.
