Name:
Ira. Just Ira, though all of the workers at the brothel he lives in use the matron's surname, so Ira Bellaneu isn't incorrect either.

Age:
Typically written between eighteen and twenty-one years.

Sex & Gender:
Gender nonconforming male.

Sexuality:
Homosexual, but has plenty of female clients.

Occupation:
Prostitute, terrible gambler.

Short Description:
Ira is a young prostitute with something of a gambling problem. He's incredibly flirty and sensual but while he plays up acting like a bit of a ditz with clients, he's actually pretty smart and tends to be something of a spy; he's very good at getting information and secrets from people, and then sells those secrets in return for various goods. He's too curious for his own good, and his mouth tends to get him into trouble more often than not. He's gotten good over the years at reading people and situations, but he loves pushing buttons, so that doesn't always keep him from fucking around.

Ira was brought up in a brothel and tavern and taught how to service patrons at an early age. His mother was a whore and his father a regular John who left to apparently get money to take his mother away from the brothel, but never actually came back. It's unknown whether he just ran away or if he died, but Ira typically thinks that the man just abandoned them. He doesn't really seem to mind that though. If anything, Ira takes that as being the way of things. It's one of the reasons he's so willing to sell secrets and information to get what he wants. Everyone betrays everyone in the end, anyway.

Other Information:
I've happily played him as a sort of nonhuman of my own creation as well. If you're interested in that, the only real changes to him are that his pupils are split like a cat's, his eyes are golden, and he boasts pointed ears with furry tufts at the tip and a slim, feline tail. His species is seen as somewhat exotic, because their bone structure leans on the more fragile side, making them as breakable as they look if clients aren't careful.

Plot & Setting Ideas:
I'm happy to write Ira either in a fantasy or non-fantasy setting, and both in historical or modern times. Modern timing changes his backstory slightly, in that he was raised by a prostitute mom and quickly took up the trade after his mom was arrested and he was largely lost within the system, eventually striking out on his own.

Name:
Jason Manes

Age:
Typically written between nineteen and twenty-six years.

Sex & Gender:
Cisgender male.

Sexuality:
Graysexual, panromantic.

Occupation:
Fighter in illegal underground werewolf fighting rings; occasionally a bouncer at a club.

Short Description:
Jason is a werewolf typically seen somewhere in his early to mid-twenties, whose dad ran off early and addict mom died while he was young. He's bounced around from place to place since then, never really settling down; he was turned really young rather than born as a werewolf, and was found and taken in by a small group of people who'd made up a small sort of found family. That backstory can be gone into further, of course. He's done some things he isn't proud of, but he's just moved back to the city (wherever a roleplay may take place) where his family -- or, those who took him in as a kid -- lives. He's been making money in underground werewolf fighting rings which, while illegal and highly dangerous, also pay really well as long as you win. He wants to reconnect with his family but so far hasn't worked up the balls to approach them, and has no idea when he might.

Personality-wise, he's had it fairly tough and it shows. He's got a bit of a hard outer shell, though it's typically made of sarcasm rather than stone or anger. He likes to act like a bad boy or a punk, but he's actually kind of a huge nerd. He fucking loves to read for example, despite not even having graduated high school. He tries to play himself up like some tough motherfucker but he's kind of still a scared kid trying to find his place and make his way in the world. His relationship with his adoptive family is rocky at best, but he wants to fix it… even though he hasn't actually tried, yet. He's afraid of rejection and abandonment, but while he definitely has some Issues, he's kind at heart and goes out of his way to help people.

Other Information:
More information can be given regarding his backstory, or if you'd like your character to be a part of that found family that took him in as a kid, I'm open to that as well.

Plot & Setting Ideas:
Jason meeting your character at one of the illegal fights. Your character could be a fighter, wanting to be his manager, a reporter, someone who accidentally wound up there, a cop, a doctor, whatever.
Jason meeting your character at one of the bars/clubs/whatever he works as a part-time bouncer for. Your character could own the place or work there, be a patron, or even be someone he's kicking out.
Jason being asked to kick your character out of somewhere, OR being asked to make sure your character got home safe post-too much partying, or whatever.

I only write Jason in fantasy settings, typically modern ones. If you love the idea of him and want a historical setting, we can definitely talk about it.

Name:
Estan Thrall

Age:
Typically seen between the ages of eighteen and twenty-one.

Sex & Gender:
Cismale

Sexuality:
Questioning, masculine-leaning attraction.

Occupation:
Crown Prince; possibly King or prisoner depending on when we start the roleplay, and where we take it.

Short Description:
As a boy Estan was extremely curious and eager to learn, though he typically kept to books since he felt he could learn most quickly from them. He was the crown prince, raised by a mother and father, along with his twin younger siblings, a boy and a girl, who were quite a bit younger than him. Unfortunately, Estan's kingdom recently fell prey to a coup (or will during the roleplay), which results in the murder of his parents, the King and Queen, as well as the young twins. Estan survives this thanks to his closest personal guard Arius and another young guard, Cato.

Estan's personality shifts somewhat post-coup. He's a little more closed off but still caring and interested in and thirsting for knowledge. It's harder for him to trust now, after losing everyone so suddenly. He's less pampered, having had to live on his own and fend for himself (with his guards' help of course). He's always been interested in learning everything he can about various peoples and cultures, and he tries to do his best for his people, as he always has. He has a thirst for knowledge, but not really for power.

Other Information:
If Estan has yet to reclaim the throne within the scope of our roleplay, it's either because whoever has taken over doesn't seem to be doing badly for the people and kingdom, or because he doesn't have the means to reclaim it yet. Arius and Cato will still be there, I really like them both and they would definitely stick with Estan to continue protecting him to the best of their ability. I may eventually write bios for them as well.

Plot & Setting Ideas:
Pre-coup, with your character as anyone interacting with Estan. Servant, guard, another royal or noble visiting, or even someone who's a part of the coup.
During the coup, with your character joining Cato, Arius, and Estan on their daring escape... or trying to stop them.
Post-coup, with your character as anyone interacting with Estan. Someone who finds him hiding out; a villager; someone from one of the ideas above; a noble or royal he's asking for help. Whatever.

I only write Estan in historical settings, whether it's fantasy or realistic.

Name:
Cassius Caria

Age:
Typically written between twenty-four and twenty-seven.

Sex & Gender:
Cismale

Sexuality:
Pansexual

Occupation:
Crown Prince, soldier when he can manage.

Short Description:
As a boy, Cassius was extremely close with his older brother, the crown prince Rowen. Cassius was always sticking close to him, and the two would have adventures together, sneaking around the castle and playing together, always getting into trouble. Rowen took care of his younger brother and, while their father was raising Rowen to be the king some day, raising him to be a soldier and king, Rowen was trying to nurture Cassius' kind heart and his sensitivity despite the way their father tried to rid him of it.

Days before Cassius' seventh birthday, a move was made against the royal family. Cassius was snatched from his bed and used to lure the crown prince Rowen from his own. The boys were ferreted away and held captive. For days, demands were made that Cassius' father hand the kingdom over. Cassius' father was sure that his men would find the boys before anything could be done to them, but he was wrong; in the time they were held, both boys endured several tortures and terrible acts, culminating when the king's guards came too close to catching the perpetrators. Rowen's throat was cut and Cassius was stabbed several times, both boys then left to die.

Rowen, only twelve years old, died quickly from his wound, whereas Cassius clung to life just long enough to be found by his father's men and brought to healers. He survived the wounds and the weeks of fever that followed, but didn't wake until well after his brother had already been sent off, missing the funeral rights altogether. His father had always preferred Rowen (Cassius was seen as weak for his sensitivity, wasn't meant to take the throne, and by his father's thoughts had taken his mother's life during childbirth) and he made it clear to Cassius that he would have preferred Rowen be the one to survive. Over the years he has treated Cassius badly, even convincing Cassius that it was his fault, and that nothing of importance had happened to Cassius, everything instead being done to his brother, despite knowing that it wasn't true.

Cassius' personality has changed a lot in the time since losing his brother. He's not so sweet and sensitive, or happy-go-lucky anymore. He still treats his people extremely well and is thoroughly loved by them, but he puts up a front nearly constantly. He parties and sleeps with anyone pretty enough to catch his attention, refuses to marry and settle down, and doesn't take many responsibilities. The fight with the other kingdom is still going, and Cassius tries to spend time in battle, though his scars and chronic pain from the wounds he suffered the night his brother was killed make him have to come home often.

Other Information:
He's bipolar (though obviously it's not like they can diagnose that) and has C-PTSD, among other mental and physical illnesses, though the physical ones largely stem from what happened to him, such as chronic pain and a limp.

Plot & Setting Ideas:
Your character could be the prince of the kingdom Cassius' own kingdom is fighting. They could meet in battle, or one could be captured by the other's army (sort of a Captive Prince situation, eyyyy).
Your character could have been sent to get close to Cassius in order to kill him, control him, whatever else.
Your character could be a guard or servant that Cassius knows, or perhaps a friend of his, like another noble or something.

I only play Cassius in historical settings, for clear reasons. This can be in a fantasy or non-fantasy world.

Name:
Ezran (or Marcus, for a modern/non-fantasy setting)

Age:
Typically written in his early to mid-thirties.

Sex & Gender:
Cismale

Sexuality:
Pansexual.

Occupation:
Retired soldier, hunter, trapper, tracker. In a modern setting, he's a veteran and single father who is receiving help due to his medical discharge.

Short Description:
Ezran is a human veteran who has recently retired from the military with an honorable discharge because of medical reasons, suffering an injury that has left him with chronic pain, scarring to his leg, face, and side, and a limp. A single father, Ezran's life now largely revolves around his daughter Za'Ria. Disillusioned by his time in the military Ezran can seem pessimistic and jaded, even closed off and guarded, but is actually quite loyal and loving, especially toward his young daughter. He's fairly smart but prefers to listen over speak, and tries to search for the bright side as well as he can despite largely keeping it to himself. Though typically more on the quiet side he is not unkind, and also suffers from PTSD and other mental and physical ailments because of his time in the military, also struggling with his daughter's own illnesses.

Ezran is kind of on the shorter side but is built quite sturdily, keeping up his rigid workout routine even now that he is out of the military. He has somewhat lighter brown skin and dark brown hair that is kept long and traditional in a historical setting, but in a modern one he keeps it close to regulation, shaved short on the sides and back while a little longer on the top. He has green eyes and dark lashes, with fading scarring running along the right side of his face, starting near the back of his head on the right side and cutting downward and toward the front, creating a few lines in his hair, then over his face near his ear, and on his jaw. His right ear was damaged by the wound leaving him deaf in it.

Other Information:
As stated, his name and background change a little depending on if it's a modern or historical verse, as well as fantasy or not. Ezran cannot read.

Plot & Setting Ideas:
Ezran agreeing to assist your character on a quest or something, in hopes that something will be able to cure Za'Ria.
Ezran living in the same village as your character.
Modern setting ones could include him meeting your character while he and Maria are out shopping or something, meeting your character in a daycare type setting, etc.

Ezran/Marcus and Za'Ria/Maria can be played within a historical or modern setting, and can be fantasy or non-fantasy.

Name:
Za'Ria (or Maria, for a modern/non-fantasy setting)

Age:
She is very proudly soon to be seven.

Sex & Gender:
Cisfemale.

Sexuality:
(N/A)

Occupation:
Being cute.

Short Description:
Za'Ria is Ezran's six year old daughter, though she will happily tell you that she will soon be seven. She is mixed-species, something largely frowned upon only because of the specific species of her parentage. The two species, human and phoenix, were not thought to be able to reproduce (and would not have likely wanted to regardless, considering humans have hunted the mother's species for their feathers, bones, blood, and tears) but Za'Ria was remarkably viable despite also having been born premature. Unfortunately the mixed genetics between species truly isn't very compatible; it's remarkable that she was created at all, let alone survived this long. The complications leave her in pain at times, and with a drastically shortened lifespan. Despite the difficulties of her growth and development, and the bleak outlook for her short life, Za'Ria is a happy little girl who loves making new friends and playing with animals, plants, and dolls... or climbing trees, playing in the mud, and running barefoot in the rain. She tries to take care of her dad as well as she can, both by being extra loving and sweet to him, and by trying to hide it when she's having bad days, when the pain from her warring genes threatens to rip her apart.

Za'Ria is pretty small, at only six years old. Her skin is deeper in color, a darker brown than Ezran's, and her hair is kept natural and short. The color and texture came from her mother, bright red like fire. Her eyes, whereas Ezran's are green, look like the same burning coals as her mother's did; they're red-orange, and if you look closely enough they sort of flicker around like fire. She has a spattering of dark freckles along the bridge of her nose and cheeks, and a few more on her shoulders, and they become more prominent in the sun.

Other Information:
Phoenixes are able to take fairly human forms, largely because they're hunted by several races for their healing properties and whatnot, along with superstitions. There are times when those forms have to be shed however. Think, I guess, of werewolves almost. There are times when they feel a compulsion to take either a bird form, or another humanoid form with more avian qualities (typically talons, feathers for hair, etc) if they're older and able to control the shifts a little better. I've typically said that staying in a fully human form for too long is painful, and can even start to drain/harm the phoenix, so they have to shift now and then.

For Za'Ria, being half-human makes these things harder for her. She has to shift at least in part more often than a full phoenix would need to, and she typically has little to no control over them, and can't stop the compulsory ones. So, there are times when her hair will become feathers, or her nails will blacken and become more like talons, or feathers will begin sprouting on her body, all without her say-so. She isn't able to take a full phoenix form, so she never becomes a bird basically, which is part of why she's sick and in pain so often; because she's stuck in her human form, she's being weakened and harmed, whereas a typical full phoenix would simply shift into their natural form for a while to sort of stretch their wings so to speak before being cramped up into a human form again.

Plot & Setting Ideas:
See Ezran for details.

Name:
Larkin

Age:
Typically written between eighteen and twenty-three.

Sex & Gender:
Cismale, gender playful?

Sexuality:
Homosexual.

Occupation:
None.

Short Description:
Larkin is a shapeshifter who takes the form of a fox. He grew up with his brother Vern but the two were eventually separated when Larkin was a little younger. His early life was spent largely in his fox form, with his brother in his owl form; the two lived in the forest together in dens they found, and they survived on their own after their mother never returned to their den one day. Larkin doesn't really seem bothered by that though. Instead, he thinks that it's just a part of life, especially for shifters who live largely feral. He almost always has a part of his fox form visible, but still enjoys spending time in his fox skin when he can. He's very curious and inquisitive, and his mouth gets him into trouble sometimes. He's sensitive despite liking to pretend that he has few cares in the world, and in fact cares very deeply, and can be deeply wounded when he thinks others don't care about him in return. He has a particular habit of taking things others say and do deeply to heart, resulting in Larkin's feelings being hurt which pushes him to escape for some personal time for a little while.

Other Information:
I typically assume that shifters are largely seen as... well, more animal than human by some species and people, almost like they're "savages" or something because so many of them avoid other species and prefer living in packs in the wild, or even spending their lives almost solely in their animal forms as ferals. Your character by no means needs to be against shifters of course, and we don't have to go with this idea at all should you not want to.

Plot & Setting Ideas:
A found family sort of pack idea, maybe? Pack dynamics are my jam.
Larkin agreeing to help someone out in exchange for something, perhaps helping them through the forest or helping them hunt.
Larkin following your character around and being really annoying, let's be honest, just because he's bored and lonely.

Larkin is only played in fantasy settings, and while typically I use him in a more historical setting, I'm willing to talk out ideas for modern threads, too.

Name:
Kalen

Age:
Appears to be in his late twenties or perhaps thirties.

Sex & Gender:
Cismale.

Sexuality:
Pansexual, but with a clear preference toward other masculine peoples.

Occupation:
Lord of the Day Court, soldier.

Short Description:
Kalen is a faerie from the Day Court, one that embodies everything you might imagine a Day faerie would. He's fairly cliche in that way, but it's completely on purpose. He nearly seems like the sun, incarnate. His skin is warmed and darkened from the sun, eyes and hair golden, and even his blood shines brightly for a moment when first exposed to the light. He is a Lord of the court but has fought in several battles within the Faerielands, though his identity was always hidden away by a mask, both to keep himself out of any sort of spotlight for his victories, but also to help ensure that whatever Court or other enemy they're fighting thinks that it's not the might of one particular faerie they should fear, but each and every soldier within the Day Court. He doesn't take particular pride in battle, but has strong feelings about honor and duty. He's very kind and caring, and is nearly always smiling. The only time he stops, usually, is when he's lying, something he's terrible at unless he really feels he has to.

Other Information:
He comes with a servant named Landry, though Kalen is of the strong opinion that Landry is his friend and brother, not his servant. The Day Court is darker than Kalen likes to admit, but he knows that the brightest lights can cast the darkest shadows. Kalen has some control over light and even illusion.

Plot & Setting Ideas:
An arranged marriage plot to unite the Courts, perhaps?
Kalen meeting your character on the battlefield?
Kalen meeting your character who has come into the Day Court lands by accident perhaps?

Kalen is only played in fantasy settings, typically those set in more historical times, but modern times will be accepted as well as long as the faerielands themselves aren't as modern.

Name:
Landry

Age:
Appears to be in his twenties or perhaps early thirties.

Sex & Gender:
Cismale.

Sexuality:
Pansexual.

Occupation:
Servant to Kalen, one of the Lords of the Day Court.

Short Description:
Landry is a non-trooping faerie whose tribe was decimated and captured by the Day Court; Landry works as Kalen's servant technically, though Kalen insists that they are friends, brothers even, while Landry secretly has feelings for Kalen. Landry is usually lighthearted for Kalen, though he's very protective of the other. He can be harsh toward those he thinks are intending to hurt Kalen, and has been known to fight people on Kalen's behalf, and to even take punishments for it. Before falling in love with Kalen, or even befriending him, Landry was extremely bitter over his tribe being slaughtered and enslaved. Eventually of course, Landry was broken by the Court and gifted to Kalen, which is when Landry began to feel less anger and hatred toward all Day faeries.

Other Information:
Landry comes from a people who can conjure and use fire, though at a cost to themselves.

Plot & Setting Ideas:
See Kalen for some ideas involving both of them. Ideas for just Landry could involve his days before the Day Court stole his people, his time before being gifted to Kalen, or even something happening while he's still serving Kalen.

Landry is only played in fantasy settings, typically those set in more historical times, but modern times will be accepted as well as long as the faerielands themselves aren't as modern.

Name:
Avery

Age:
Typically played between thirty-four and thirty-eight years old.

Sex & Gender:
Cismale.

Sexuality:
Graysexual.

Occupation:
Hired hand, bounty hunter, hitman.

Short Description:
Avery is a hired hand/bounty hunter/whatever pays best at the moment. He doesn't have a ton of morals when it comes to a job because the money is going to his "sister", who's raising his young daughter. He gets called "cowboy" a lot (which he isn't the biggest fan of but also just doesn't give a shit) because he's got a bit of a Southern accent and says things like 'this ain't my first rodeo' unironically. That is, when he talks. He doesn't do a lot of it. Some people think he's dense, but really he prefers to just listen and take things in, and only speak when he really has something worth saying. He can come off as cold and uncaring, stony, but really he just learned long ago that it's better to be seen, not heard. Or not even seen, if he can help it.

Avery's older brother Dean is a psychopath who has been hurting people for a really long time. He started off with hurting animals, but quickly moved on to playing 'games' with Avery when Avery was still very young, typically cutting, burning, or otherwise torturing him. Their parents died in what was ruled a home invasion - still unsolved - and the boys were put into foster care. It was when Avery's brother started 'playing' with one of their foster brothers that they were kicked to the curb, but by that point Avery was old enough that he ran off on his own anyway, trying to escape his brother.

He took up the job of hitman/hired hand because he'd gotten good at dealing with pain, at hiding things, being on his own, and doing whatever it took to survive. He'd long since lost sight of what was truly right or wrong, at least when it came to keeping himself safe and whatnot. He's been successfully living under the radar, keeping out of sight of his brother despite being sure that he was still looking for him, doing whatever pays enough at the time.

Other Information:
A few things about him: he's learned how to sort of shut himself down during missions, in that he doesn't allow himself to really think about what he's doing, or feel anything about it, good or bad. He's claustrophobic but tries to keep that to himself. He typically has a problem with touch, and usually doesn't want anyone to get too close to him. He's neurodivergent, and has some obvious characteristics that he doesn't really notice. I am also more than happy to play his older brother Dean in a thread with Avery.

Plot & Setting Ideas:
Perhaps Avery was sent after your character, or maybe you're the one who's hiring him.
Maybe Avery knows your character, and they're being tracked down by Dean.
Maybe your character is a cop, hot on the tail of Avery after one mistake.
Hell, maybe your character mistakes Avery as the new hire/babysitter/whatever and he goes along with it to escape the guys tailing him.

Avery is played only in a modern setting, fantasy or not.
Avery: Avery3.jpg Avery2.jpg
Dean: Dean.jpg

Name:
Taniel

Age:
Appears to be somewhere around the age of eight or nine. He's much older than this obviously, but still quite young for a faerie.

Sex & Gender:
AFAB male.

Sexuality:
(N/A)

Occupation:
Getting people lost, throwing things, shaking tree limbs.

Short Description:
Taniel is a young faerie, non-trooping/without a court or Lord. He primarily lives in trees, and is pretty feral. An important part of his backstory is that his wings were cut off for their value, which could have happened a while before the roleplay, just before it, or even sometime during our roleplay. Taniel has no magic per say, but is able to sense old magic and communicate with trees to an extent. He has a lot of distrust for others, but that typically manifests itself in running, hiding, hissing, spitting insults or taunts, throwing acorns, etc. He's been known to trick people on purpose and lead them astray within the forests, humans especially, but he doesn't usually do any lasting damage to others. Taniel likes to act like he's really tough and threatening, even evil, but he's actually nowhere close to that. He's just frightened and hurt, distrusting of others, and wary of being hurt again. He's always lived alone, too, which hasn't helped his social skills.

Other Information:
I usually play him as quite young, a child even, but I can just as easily play him as older. That said, I'm more than happy to multimuse, so I'd be happy to play him as whatever age along with others, if you so choose.

Plot & Setting Ideas:
Taniel gets your character lost in the woods, but follows them or takes pity on them later and helps them out.
Your character runs/wanders into the woods, and Taniel tries to scare them or get them lost.
Your character has heard of the disappearances happening within the wood and has come to investigate, only to find Taniel.
Your character finds Taniel after his wings have been removed, and decides to help him.
Taniel decides to follow your character around in the woods out of secret curiosity and loneliness, hidden under the explanation that he's making sure you don't hurt any trees or something.

Taniel is only played in a fantasy setting because he's a faerie. Historical D&D type times are preferred, but modern times might be fine too if you talk to me about it!

Name:
Lelanni

Age:
Typically played between twenty-three and twenty-six years old.

Sex & Gender:
Cisfemale.

Sexuality:
Lesbian.

Occupation:
Part time waitress/bartender, full time surfer.

Short Description:
Lelanni is a part time waitress/bartender, full time surfer who's done with everyone's shit. She's trying to take care of her mom, and just make it through. She doesn't give a shit about who her dad is (whether she is a demigoddess or normal human, she doesn't know who he is and doesn't care), and decided years and years ago as a small child that if she ever met him, she'd punch him in the face and walk away. She's very much an individual, never had much time for games and playing around. She's worked hard all of her life, trying to take care of herself and her mother who never got over her dad walking out on her. Lelanni's mother also suffers from some unknown mental illness (undiagnosed), and it's been up to Lelanni to care for her for many years now.

Other Information:
Lelanni has always wanted to be a pro surfer but isn't one for keeping her head in the clouds, so she surfs in what little free time she has between home and work, never actually chasing her dreams. She is typically played as a demigoddess, specifically the daughter of Poseidon. She has some power over water, or related to it, but also banes that have to do with the lack of water, specifically salt water from the sea. She can also sort of be a mermaid at times, but rather than the typical pretty-looking mermaids, she looks more like a fish person, like the fish man in The Shape of Water (color scheme based on bullfrogs with blue color variant!).

Plot & Setting Ideas:
Other demipeople or mermaids? Some cool quest or some crap?
Maybe your character is just a normal person who gets caught up in finding out Lelanni isn't.
Maybe your character is (lowkey begrudgingly) rescued by her while she's in her fish form, or while she's surfing.
Hell, maybe they've known each other for years.

Lelanni is only played in modern settings, and while fantasy is highly preferred, I can rework her to fit a non-fantasy setting.

Name:
Benjamin Blake

Age:
Typically played between twenty-three and twenty-six old.

Sex & Gender:
Cismale.

Sexuality:
Homosexual.

Occupation:
None. He was a baron, until being disowned and banished.

Short Description:
Benjamin Blake is a young baron and the best friend of the crown prince. He was raised alongside the prince, his father amiable with the King, and his sister slated to marry Benjamin's best friend, who had thus far refused to settle down and wed, or take up the duties of his kingdom. Being the sickly sort, Benjamin found it difficult to keep up with the prince's ways especially as a young boy, and quickly learned how to help curb the other's want for mischief, becoming well-versed in the ways of keeping others out of trouble. Despite being able to stand his ground when he has to, Benjamin is typically more quiet and bookish, with a kind heart full of compassion.

As the boys grew together, feelings bloomed between them. The prince never minded that Benjamin was so often ill, nor did he seem to fear the symptoms presented by him while others were sure he was possessed by spirits or demons, plagued by and trapped within their clutches. While the prince was taught how to rule a kingdom, Benjamin himself was tasked greatly with making his family proud, something he'd been failing miserably at since birth. He'd always been a sickly baby, and it had followed him throughout his life. The fevers were known of by some, but there was something else that his mother and father had kept away from any prying eyes or listening ears. He had, for as long as he could remember, been plagued by demons. Many had tried to exorcise them, paid into silence by his parents, but none could end the fits and convulsions they forced Benjamin into as they tried to consume his soul, or take his body for their own.

The fevers followed him too, like the fits; he'd fallen into one so bad after being banished that when he'd finally woken, he'd lost all of his hearing in one ear. Yet another thing he'd tried hard to hide from those who might seek to use it against him, though who might care about his reputation /these/ days, he didn't know. After all, he'd tarnished it well and good enough on his own, with one simple mistake: he'd forgotten to lock the door. He and the prince developed feelings for one another and were unfortunately caught kissing, resulting in Benjamin being banished in secret, also quietly disowned by his family.

Other Information:
It's eventually revealed that he's lost his hearing in one ear due to a high fever he developed during his travels, and now walks with a limp from a fall he had while seizing. He'd been threatened in no small terms, and that threat of death or imprisonment still loomed darkly over his head, should he return.

Plot & Setting Ideas:
Your character could be the crown prince, obviously, and either he's come to find Benjamin, or Benjamin has returned for some reason and they reunite.
Your character could have been tasked with going with Benjamin when he was banished to make sure he never returns.
Benjamin could have been banished and found himself in your character's kingdom, village, etc.
Your character could find him trying to make it on his own and help or hinder him.
Rather than banished, he could have been sent to your character's kingdom as a way to get rid of two problems at once (as a husband, a servant, a gift, or to be killed/kill your character, whatever we'd like).

Benjamin is only to be used in a historical setting, which can be fantasy or not.

Name:
Brenton "Brent" Calahan

Age:
Typically played in his mid-thirties.

Sex & Gender:
Cismale.

Sexuality:
Bisexual.

Occupation:
CEO of the family business, criminal.

Short Description:
Brent is the son of a wealthy and highly corrupt businessman. After college he successfully blackmailed his father into handing the company over to him, and now makes the profits without having to work very hands-on, allowing him to focus more on his more blatantly criminal workings. He's a really shitty person, but he hides it expertly behind a smile and pleasantries. It's hard to believe he's as awful as he is because he's a real narcissist, but is exceptional at hiding those behaviors in order to better manipulate those around him. He's a sadist, but he also enjoys the planning parts, and commanding people. He's definitely not afraid to get his hands dirty, even enjoys it, but he also gets off on having the power to make others (like Frankie) do his bidding for him.

Other Information:
Brent is in a relationship with Frankie. The relationship is extremely volatile and abusive, with Brent doing whatever he wants to Frankie, when he wants to. He's also been known to "share" Frankie.

Plot & Setting Ideas:
Brent working for or with your character, getting into criminal hi-jinks.
Brent and Frankie meeting your character at random?

Brent is only played in a modern setting, which can be fantasy or non-fantasy.

Name:
Franklin "Frankie" Delisante III

Age:
Typically played in his mid-thirties.

Sex & Gender:
Cismale.

Sexuality:
Homosexual.

Occupation:
Criminal, arsonist

Short Description:
Frankie is a criminal and arsonist, and the boyfriend/partner of Brent. He can be a big sweet baby when he cares about someone, but he's also admittedly a bad person who doesn't mind hurting and killing people for money, or just because he was told to. He accidentally killed his entire family as a kid when he set their shitty home on fire, attempting to only kill his stepdad. The others burned as well while they slept, and Frankie escaped but was badly burned, and eventually ended up within a group orphanage before eventually getting out on his own. He follows Brent happily and they're together, even though Brent would deny it. Brent's also happy to share (or, give Frankie away) and is often brutal and abusive to Frankie, though Frankie accepts and allows it.

Other Information:
Frankie is covered in scars, the majority of them clearly from burns. He also sports a brand low on his pelvis that Brent left him with after a particularly bad night.

Plot & Setting Ideas:
Frankie working for/with your character as a criminal.
Frankie teaming up with your character as an arsonist.
Frankie setting fires and shit and your character finding him? Who knows.

Frankie is only played in modern settings, whether they are fantasy or not.

Name:
William "Tag" Crawford

Age:
Typically played between eighteen and twenty-three.

Sex & Gender:
AMAB, secretly gender queer who currently presents only as male.

Sexuality:
Homosexual.

Occupation:
None. (criminal, drug dealer, getaway driver, street racer, rich white boy...)

Short Description:
Tag is a rich young man who embodies the idea of "live fast, die young, and have a beautiful corpse." His father is a wealthy man, his mother emotionally distant, so Tag was left to his own devices and shipped off to a boarding school where they wouldn't have to deal with him. He's taken to dealing (and using) drugs, and has a particular fondness for underground car racing. He plays everything the way he drives: fast and loose. He tends to talk a lot, probably an annoying amount, and asks tons of questions. When asked about it he'll just say he has a lot he wants to know.

He's kind of a shithead, has jokes, etc. but when he cares about someone, his loyalty is unmatched. If someone puts one of the people he considers to be "his" in danger, or is shitty to them or something, a switch sort of flips and Tag's easygoing attitude changes in an instant. He becomes dangerous and angry, almost like a feral animal, and will happily hurt or kill whoever's trying to harm the person he cares about. Outside of those instances however Tag will claim he's not a fan of blood, acting almost squeamish about it; he tends to stick instead to transport, rather than any sort of hands-on action, unless he has to.

Other Information:
He bleaches his hair blonde or dyes it silver all of the time, but naturally has brown hair (which he thinks is boring). He's also pale as shit, and well tattooed.

Plot & Setting Ideas:
Tag selling/using drugs with your character, them partying, etc.
Tag and your character racing.
Tag acting as your character's getaway driver.
Tag and your character in the same boarding school.

Tag is only used in modern settings, be they fantasy or not.

Name:
Enoli Littlefield

Age:
Typically played between thirty-two to thirty-six years old.

Sex & Gender:
Cismale.

Sexuality:
Closeted pansexual, presents as heterosexual.

Occupation:
Community leader and activist.

Short Description:
Enoli grew up on a reservation in a multi-family home, with eight people sharing a two-bedroom trailer. His parents shared a room with his younger brother and sister, his mom's sister sharing with her young son, while Enoli and his older cousin slept on the living room floor together. While living on the rez, his family struggled with stereotypical hardships faced by natives, including health issues, extreme poverty, lack of safety and justice on the rez, and alcoholism. These factors were what led to the death of Enoli's father, John Red Horse Littlefield, who was killed on reservation lands during an alcohol-fueled fight.

After Red Horse's death, Enoli moved along with his mother, aunt Nanye'hi, his siblings, and his two cousins to the city. They moved into an apartment with two rooms, one for the women and young children, the other for Enoli and his cousins, Sequoyah and Rocking Canoe. Having already gotten into plenty of trouble on the rez, Enoli followed his cousin Rocking Canoe as he found more trouble in the city, the two eventually falling in with a local gang. Enoli learned plenty of tips and tricks including lock picking and how to fight, he and Rocking Canoe fighting tooth and nail to survive, and to help provide for their family even at young ages.

Unfortunately Enoli was eventually busted and despite his age, his record pushed prosecutors to charge him heavily in hopes of taking him down for a long sentence. Enoli would have been booked for years and years, but Rocking Canoe took the fall for him in the end; while Enoli still served some time, Rocking Canoe was the one convicted of things Enoli had done, sentenced to many years in prison.

Enoli has never forgotten or forgiven himself for putting Rocking Canoe in that position, or for letting him take the fall on Enoli's behalf; even now, his cousin's sacrifice weighs heavily on Enoli's conscience, spurring him to start fresh and become a better person. Enoli and Rocking Canoe were raised as brothers, and he refuses to waste the second chance that has been given to him. Though he has done many bad things in the past, a lot of things that he's not proud of and doesn't think he's deserving of forgiveness for, Enoli has become open about much of his past and is actively working to help his community.

Instead of focusing on committing crime to better his own life, Enoli has shifted his attention to bettering his community and the people within it, hoping that helping those around him would in turn help the world as a whole. Striving to be a better person than he was in his youth, Enoli has and continues to work toward changing himself, his community, and thus the world at large. He fights with everything he has for his causes, his passion unmatched. He's as dangerous these days in a debate as he is in a brawl, with strength in enough areas to make him a fairly well-rounded Jack of all trades.

He tries to take on and tackle both big and little-picture issues, believing that everyone deserves a fighting chance, and that helping those around him will help change the world at large. As a community leader and activist Enoli has helped instigate discussions on big topics like racism, colorism, police brutality, and corruption, but has also done his part to directly impact the community he is a part of by helping to raise funds to build a public library in the slums, assisting with management of shelters to ensure they can stay open, and even speaking with local government in hopes of opening bus stops in more impoverished areas since he believes there is a direct link in the lack of transportation in that area and the level of poverty, violence, and incarcerations.

Aside from being a community leader, Enoli is also an activist in several groups, including ones to help and support indigenous populations and try to bring about change and reformation in tribal law and reservations, like the one he grew up on.

Although Enoli has made a lot of changes in his life, some things remain the same: Enoli struggles with his anger just like he did as a boy, his passion for his causes and beliefs sometimes pushing him into acts of violence. He can be pushed from anger into full rages, sometimes losing himself in physical altercations that result in things he's far from proud of. He does his best to keep himself together but when he's pushed far enough, sometimes what follows can't be helped.

Curiosity, likewise, can sometimes bleed into paranoia. Enoli has made plenty of enemies both before and since deciding to remake himself and change his life, and at times he falls prey to his own anxieties over people watching him, spying on him, or being out to get him. It takes more to push him into paranoia than anger, but when it comes, Enoli is less likely to consider the consequences of his actions, which can sometimes lead him into less than savory situations.

When it comes to looks, Enoli takes some pride in them, though he's not one to be distracted by the appearance of himself or others. He's fairly short at only 5'10", but what he lacks in height he makes up for with his sturdy build. He keeps up a rigid workout routine even now, taking pride in his physical appearance and knowing full well that his looks can either help or hurt him and his goals. He long ago realized that people who look a certain way get further than others, and while he's aware that he can't (and doesn't want to) change certain aspects of his looks such as his brown skin, he can and often does dress nicely, albeit comfortably. This is both to appeal to those he must in order to help his city and because the ability to dress up makes him feel nice, though Enoli is careful not to alienate and ostracize the very people he wants most to help.

Enoli keeps his hair long, typically braided in a fairly traditional fashion though there are times in which he can be found with it hanging loosely, or tied up into what amounts to a man bun. He has dark brown eyes and thick lashes, with faded scarring marring his skin from his life before turning a new leaf. The worst of the scars are easily hidden beneath his clothing, though there are some still within view on his face and arms.

Other Information:
When nervous, it is not uncommon to find Enoli messing with his hair, typically undoing it then braiding it again several times, or rubbing along a particular scar on the palm of his hand where he and Rocking Canoe once decided to do a blood pact after seeing it in a movie… though in the end Rocking Canoe chickened out after Enoli expressed how badly cutting his palm hurt.

He's Native, in case that wasn't clear.

He was created for VtM, but I left the party and loved Enoli, so here we are. I can write him as a freshly turned vampire if you're into that, or some other creature.

Plot & Setting Ideas:
Enoli trying to help your character somehow.
Your character could try to rob him or something, who knows.
If we go supernatural with this, I can gladly write him as a freshly turned-something.
I would also gladly write him with any other Native characters!

Modern settings are required for Enoli, but they can be fantasy or non-fantasy.

Name:
Landon Cole

Age:
Typically played between thirty-two to forty years old.

Sex & Gender:
Cismale.

Sexuality:
Pansexual.

Occupation:
None, he's rich as shit. Hopeful criminal mastermind for good?

Short Description:
Landon is an extremely eccentric and secretive multi-billionaire, who has decided that he is no longer satisfied with how the world is. He has all of this money and nothing that he really wants or needs, so he's decided that he's going to hire a criminal (or small team of them) to commit crimes that will, in the end, be for the good of the people. He's not great in social situations and tends to ramble or derail his own thoughts often, but he has enough money that he hopes it doesn't matter! He will gladly pay you to murder tyrants, take down dictatorships, wreck a cartel's plans, or whatever else he thinks might help out the rest of the world. The way he thinks he'll accomplish getting the criminal/s on his side easiest is... by setting one of his own homes up as a target for a break-in, or putting a hit out on himself, then catching the person he'd baited. Brilliant.

Other Information:
Landon had a vasectomy the moment he was able to, just to ensure he never had any children.
He's British.
To be honest, I watched the movie 6 Underground and really wanted to roleplay it, but there is zero fandom so I made my own rich guy to play shit with.

Plot & Setting Ideas:
Obviously Landon getting your character to break into his house/try to kill him or something, only to catch them and offer them a job.
Our characters already working together (Landon, your character(s), and any of my other criminal type characters if you want, like Tag, Avery, Brent, Frankie)

Landon is only available in modern settings, but I welcome both fantasy and non-fantasy worlds.

Name:
Anders

Age:
Typically played between eighteen to twenty-two years old.

Sex & Gender:
Cismale.

Sexuality:
Closeted homosexual.

Occupation:
Student, but also works multiple jobs to pay for school.

Short Description:
Anders is your typical high school (or college) kid, working to pay what his scholarship doesn't cover for the fancy high school/academy/university he's attending. He grew up poor and with an abusive father, whom he escapes post-high school graduation but at a cost. As a kid he contracted meningitis and lost a portion of his hearing, and therefor relies on reading lips more than hearing, but also knows ASL! He has a lot of feelings about classism, racism, and colorism as he gets older, and is not afraid to fight someone despite being fairly quiet and appearing unassuming enough. He is still in the closet about his own sexuality, despite beginning to accept that it isn't going to change just because he's hiding it.

Other Information:
He can typically be seen riding his bike around everywhere, because he has no vehicle of his own and can't always afford bus fares. His bike, to help carry his stuff, does in fact have a basket... it's just on the back.

Plot & Setting Ideas:
High school/college setting where our characters share classes?
College setting where they work together at whatever job we can decide on?
Study partners? Do they run into each other (possibly literally) at some sort of extracurricular/library/whatever?

Anders is only used in modern settings, be they fantasy or non-fantasy.
