Both Needed Destined for peace or war?

The kingdoms of Brehan and Mothen have been at war for as far as people could remember. Two fractions of a world long divided. Lives have been forfeited, blood has been shed and neither party remembers exactly why and when the war started. What they do know is they don't like each other and the other party has killed their brothers and sisters, their fathers and mothers, friends, uncles, aunts, there has been a lot of bloodshed going around. Neither party is willing to admit they have been wrong, neither party is prepared to put down their arms. Pride is in the way.

One day, a bright flash of light came from the sky. It engulfed the two kingdoms. From other worlds, multiple creatures and beings have been picked. Can they bring peace back to these lands? Or are Brehan and Mothen doomed to forever fight until neither is standing any longer?

The kingdom of Brehan

The country of Brehan is mainly covered in tall mountains. It's cold and barren lands a challenge for who ever comes across. But the Brehaniants have taught themselves how so survive with these less than ideal circumstances. They are a proud folk, who price themselves for their skills in survival and fierceness. Magic is part of their daily lives.

The kingdom of Mothen

A land that fares fairly well, if it wasn't for the corrupted government leading these lands. With plenty of growth all around, woods, plants, food, you would say these lands had everything you would want. Magic is forbidden in these lands and frowned upon.

I have been walking around with the need for a group rp for a while now and had this idea in my head (which I first tried for several 1x1 rps, but didn't work well in that setting). So I thought; Why not try it in a group-rp setting?

This roleplay may include darker themes. It's about a war between two kingdoms, I can't imagine a war being friendly.

Roles you can play
The roles you can play in this rp can be anything, really. A citizen from Brehan or Mothen? Fine by me! One of the people brought from another land to this one? Okay in my book! Does your character come from a different world? Come on over! Are they supernatural? Local? There are many directions we can go in~

If you want to play a member of the royal family of either land that is also completely okay! Just send me a DM to see if we can work it out ^^ If you have an NPC that will fit this world; throw them in!

I am intending this to be a rather free RP.
You may play multiple characters!

Well, since we have a group that is teleported in from other worlds, you can be quite free in species! ^^
In Brehan it's mostly magic users: witches, mages, warlocks, etc.
In Mothen humans ^^

Hello! You are more than welcome to join <3 You can totally create a work with advanced technology. There is no limit on this :) Keep in mind that the technology might not work in the new world ^^ Like things that need reception (phones I.E.) and stuff :)

Background : In their own world, a place where magic and technology were integrated together, leading to extreme advancements in technology (and civilization as a result), they were a feared group of mercenaries. They are often paid to cause havoc on corrupt officials and to eradicate enemies of the people in the most cruel way they could think of. Eventually, crime rates died down until the point that they began to work on different jobs. One day, a mysterious light has gathered the three together, calling each member by name. It wanted then to bring peace to two kingdoms at what seemed to be perpetual war. One would wonder how a group of people dedicated to killing others would stop a war. "Two sides of a coin can be joined together if you melt the damn thing as a whole..."

Appearance : A fair-skinned man with an average-sized but slightly bulky build (standing 5'9"). His hair is of a silver color and is brushed towards the side, making it appear to be affected by a non-existent wind. While he always tends to wear full-body armor of his own customization during merc work, his more casual attire involves a kevlar-protected business suit under a brown long coat.

+ Heavily Trained - His experience from heavy training enabled him to develop unnatural reaction time and precision.
+ Plasma Manipulation - This enable him to create and manipulate plasma at his will, usually for offensive purposes like blasts and beams, though he could also use it to create a plasma barrier or to create plasma-based technology.
+ Advanced Metal Manipulation - This power enables him to create and manipulate metals at his will. His common application of this is to create improvised 'power armor', weapons, and other metallic objects. He can also use it to conjure formations (like barriers and spikes), repair metallic objects, and disarm/debilitate nearby opponents (if he focuses hard enough on their metallic equipment).
Equipment :
+ Custom Equipment - His ability to manipulate both metal and plasma enables him to create weapons and armors at his own will.
Weaknesses : Metal is a great conductor of electricity. On another note, if anyone can redirect his plasma-based attacks to him, it can deal a serious load of damage.

Appearance : A slim but slightly toned woman who stands 5'2" tall and possesses a fair complexion. Her black hair is cut short, not unlike a pixie cut. She has a round and smooth face decorated with a piercing near the corner of her lip, and she tends to wear eye contacts of varying colors. Though she often carries a mean look on her face, she may be seen with a smirk when she is in a good mode.

When going to an operation, she often wears protective armor, often described as a 'swimsuit if it were made of metals', under a layer of attire composed of nanofibers. On the other hand, her casual attire is composed of a dark grey tank top paired with light brown shorts.

Personality : Summarized as: Boyish, Rude, Confident, Tough
Skills and Powers :
+ Stealth Mastery - Having specifically trained for stealth, she can easily hide in blinds spots and move in complete silence, making her difficult to spot.
+ Enhanced Speed - her enhanced speed allows her to outpace any ordinary sprinter. This also means that she could deal painful blows while running.
+ Advanced Light Manipulation - this power enables her to use light to blind enemies, create illusions, render her invisible, and to directly attack targets (as hardlight).
Equipment :
+ Compacted Undersuit - A combat suit that enables her to resist blows while permitting sufficient mobility.
+ Nanomachine Attire - An attire made of nanomachinery that allow it to change its appearance, from what appears to be ordinary clothes to combat gear. It can used to shift some parts into lethal weaponry like knives that can cut through steel or whips that can easily shred flesh.
+ Bracelet Gun - a bracelet-like object that can be used to fire darts of various properties depending on its inputted settings. Quantum replication gives it infinite ammo.
Weaknesses : She is generally more frail compared to the other two, which is why she prefers downing opponents in stealthier manners. Anyone who can easily see through illusions also gets an upper-hand.

Character 3: The Living Scourge

Appearance : A pale and lanky man who stands 6'2" tall, giving him a monstrous appearance. He will always hide his face with what superficially resembles a WW2 gas mask and match it with a military commander's hat, making him appear as a completely hollow husk.

Regardless of whether or not he is in business, he will always wear a military uniform not unlike that of the Nazis and Imperial Japanese, with a suit of body armor underneath.

Personality : Summarized as: Eccentric, Merciless, Philosophical, Unsettling
Skills and Powers :
+ War's Schadenfreude - Aside from increased strength and prowess from military-esque training, he has the ability to become stronger when witnessing a horrible death. The greater and morr widespread the suffering, the more powerful he gets.
+ Temperature Manipulation - This power enables him to either rapidly heat or cool objects with his touch. He can also eject burst of flame and ice from his hands.
+ Advanced Poison Manipulation - This power enables him to conjure and manipulate various kinds of poisons at his will and give them various properties (like corrosion, reactiveness and addictiveness). He can also create armor-piercing barbs to envenom targets.
Equipment :
+ Gas Mask - A gas mask whose visor enables him to also see in infrared and x-ray.
+ 'A Suitcase' - A suitcase capable of producing various explosives ranging from grenades to landmines (though it takes time to generate them). It is also made up of heavy materials, making it suitable for cracking the skulls of opponents and a built-in explosives launcher.
+ Infinity Handgun - A pistol with infinte ammo. Its rounds pierce armor and fragment when entering the body, dealing severe damage to those it hits.
Weaknesses : Anything completely immune to any of his poisons has an significant advantage over him (given that he does not give use any additional properties as an alternative). His tendency to stand and watch his opponents painfully succumb to death can open vulnerabilities whenever he decides to go solo in an operation.

Notes: thinks that everything her kingdom has been doing in the war is justified because of the very biased and filtered education she received. She has also developed a distrust towards men after her father pushed suitor upon suitor for her to marry, many of which with awful intentions. This has also kept her away from pursuing romance, giving her more time to improve her magic.

Appearance:
From late nights, video games, relaxing with friends he's not as fit not as overweight as he looks. Sadly for being picked at the wrong time, is wearing his usual blue pyjama track pants, a singlet and a grey worn hoodie.
Long dirty blond hair bound back into a tail. Various piercings around his ear and eyebrow, a full tattoo up along his right arm faded from time. In most cases he's a hard worker by nature but more of a night owl than a real day job individual.
In short imagine an Australian Wizard with zero fucks.

Personality:
After having a horrible encounter with a rage filled waffle iron possessed by an AI that tried to jump scare him failed, resulting in him falling down two flights of stairs, the trauma of both mild burns and impact resulted in an unhealthy fear of stairs. Both going up and down them, oh the horror. Though he hides behind a rather overly relaxed chill attitude, in typical style, he prefers to wait to them speak his mind right after avoiding both a fight or conflict. Or drawing upon his knowledge and experience to figure things out, though not always effective at the right point of time.

History:
His world in best terms is rather messed up, there's no magic and the technology though advanced is rarely fully understood since in most cases the technology just cares for itself. In the end due to under performing population his world had started to rapidly die out. The machines however had planned this from the start and had slowly began to contain, enslave and lock down humans in controlled environments that they employed humans in - being lazy by nature the humans figured out a way to fight back using metal cutlery and power sockets. Some didn't survive, mostly the humans against the machines since the voltages were much higher. Without power, the machines realised their greatest weakness was being rolled out - since humans could restore power by turning on a jumper switch that the machines couldn't or were too technically advanced to understand, or just couldn't see the switch because they weren't able to adapt to such old breaker technology.

Dennis now suddenly transported here, has no idea where he is. Or really what he's doing here. Only that he looks more like a oddly dressed hobo mage with piercings, tattoos and that's about it.

Powers: Can cook up a mean omelette, mash potatoes to a smooth consistency.
No really - he ended up here with no idea what his powers were only that he's here surrounded by those who should not be 'heroes' because they are either too young or naive.
Oh ok fine. Due to the tech implants into the back of head, no... not going to work.
Broken Luck power. What could kill him often misses. What bad things do happen - tend to be when he doesn't want them to be. :D

Weaknesses:
Physical Exertion, being unfit in a rather home based job means he lacks the finesse he had before he stopped training.
Old Injuries, life wasnt as good to Dennis as it was to others - so for the most part Dennis has a bad knee. So he struggles at running.

Loves to pat dogs and cats. Will pat chickens, cows and generally abhors violence to animals.
