Full Name: Laquarr Nasir

Gender: disinterested
Pronouns: they/them
Sexuality: disinterested
Occupation: War Chief
Role: Guardian of Water
Planet Origin: Boskoria
Powers: Laquarr has a deep connection to the water spirits on their planet, Boskoria. Through these connections they are able to move water at will, and freeze or evaporate it in intricate ways.
Notable Features: Laquarr has many ritual scars across their body that signify their connection to the sea.
Height: 6'8"
Face Claim: n/a
Personality: Laquarr has been fighting for their species for as long as they can remember. They were raised to fight, first the human empire, and then when forces of an alien empire invaded, against them too. Because this, they are often seen as difficult and uncompromising. However they are also praised for their quick thinking and decisive actions.
Biography: Laquarr has had little time in life to develop anything other than a thirst for combat. The orcish tribes that live in the Hrata Archipelego were always struggling to survive. With few resources other than those that can be found at sea, the Orcs began raiding ships as soon they began passing by their shores.
Unlike the humans, Orcs had a very deep connection to the forces of nature, especially those of the sea, sky, and the volcano that formed the very islands they inhabited. You could tell what element an orc was attuned with by the color of their skin. Laquarr was born with vibrant teal adorning her skin, signifying her connection to the spirits of the sea.
They were raised to harness this connection to further the efforts of the raiding parties, helping them navigate the treacherous waters near the archipelago as a youth, and graduating to raiding the decks as they got older.
Concepts like friendship or romance were replaced in their life for duty and loyalty. The tribe always came first, their own needs washed away in the violent waves that crashed ceaselessly against their island home, and the violent men that hunted her people.
Planet Information: The planet of Boskoria is dominated by a vast continent on the northern hemisphere, with another only a third its size to the south east, and an archipelago that was formed from an eruption that forever changed the southern continent long before anyone can remember.
The northern continent is controlled mostly by humans, or so they believe. They are a cunning race, but a volatile one. While numerous, they frequently come into conflict with forces far more powerful than they, and because of this their "empire" has largely been herded into the vast city/state of Darathuse. Darathuse is really multiple cities built up around the various lakes of the low plains in the center of the northern continent separated by miles of farmland that help support the urban population.
To the east of Darathuse lie great swamps where feral nature witches live. They come in various anthropomorphic forms of typical swamp creatures, like snakes and rodents, even platypi. They hate the humans for logging into their territory and use their nature magic to wreck havoc on their encroaching borders.
I'll include more about this planet if it becomes necessary. There's a lot.
Extras: Laquarr has a female body, but its very muscular, and they aren't really aware of the differences between genders that other races experience. While Orcs do have sex, female soldiers are rarely selected as mates, and are trained because of their heavy connections to the elements. Orcish society is heavily chauvinistic, and they believe (wrongly) that traits come from the father's. Women are used more for their utility. Since Laquarr is more useful as a warrior and less attractive by conventional orc standards, she is never raised to consider sex or her own desires. That's just how it is there. Luxuries are basically not existent in orc culture.
Laquarr uses a harpoon on a 50ft cord made from hemp, one of the only plants that grows on the islands. The orcs smoke the various strains of this plant to achieve different mental states.
