Hello there! My name is Mercurial, but I prefer Mal, or just M for simplicity. I'm not all that great at introductions, there's so much to say and I'm not sure how to say it all, so just bare with me. I'm on the younger side, just nineteen years old, but I've been role-playing for awhile and have had lots of experience over the 7 years I've been participating in this hobby. So while I may be new to this forum, don't be hesitant to drop by and say hi. It has been awhile since I've picked up role-playing though, it used to be one of my favorite past times but before I took a small break, so I may be a tad bit rusty until I get into the swing of things.
To get the most important stuff out of the way, I work full time and am also in school. I also have a few time consuming hobbies outside of role-play, I knit, go to the gym often, and really enjoy to bake. I live with my boyfriend and like to try and spend time with him when I can, so these things tend to come first. Despite this I will try my best to get one roleplay response out per partner a day, If I can't respond for longer than a few days I'll message you and let you know. I also baby-sit as a side gig, and when I'm doing that I can reply, but I will avoid role-playing with 18+ content, as it makes me uncomfortable to read or write about anything like that around children. And that's about it for the serious stuff, now to the fun stuff!
I really really enjoy to make characters for my role-plays, it might be my second best part of the entire process. A lot of the time I tend to create characters for specific environments, and build up role-plays around them. Getting to flesh out a character and build on their personality, and make them into a unique person is one of the best parts of a roleplay for me. I also really enjoy making unique characters for fandom role-plays. So role-playing in an existing world, but not actually putting my character into the main story for said existing world. I can write both female and male characters, and when it comes to romance I prefer mxm or fxm pairings. I really love more fantasy based role-plays, whether it be modern fantasy or fantasy based farther into the past. There's a lot more about me and what I like when it comes to roleplay, but that will be included in my official request thread.
