ABOUT ME
While I am very fresh to this site, I am definitely not fresh to writing. I grew up utterly enamoured by all things fantasy and mythological, and spent my spare time (and a lot of school time) writing stories. Writing has been a life long passion of mine, and nearly three decades later, it's still an avid love of mine.
I found text-based RP several years ago, and found that it solved one of my biggest pet peeves: always being able to anticipate what I was about to write next. I love bouncing ideas around, discussing alternate realities or various scenes, and love building a story and world from a small concept with someone.
My hope is to write long-term, romance and adventure stories, that dive into the mind's of my characters and how they experience the world around them.
Recently, my interest lays in MxM pairings. I've been bitten by the bug, and I'm absolutely obsessed. I love writing men in all forms; be they traditionally masculine, sharply beautiful and feminine, or gorgeously androgynous.
I'm an advanced literate, multi-paragraph writer and often find myself getting carried away. I'm known to potentially write novella-length posts for introductions, and sometimes in scenes where I have a myriad of ideas and character actions.
However, I have a fairly strong sense of RP-code, in that I; never god-mod or control my partner's character, never write out-there plot twists that greatly impact my partner's character or the world to their detriment, and never ghost.
MY PATIENCE POLICY
Writing is a wonderful hobby, and it should never be made to become a task with a deadline. Adult life is incredibly busy, and it's important to always keep this in mind.
Sometimes, we only have enough mental energy to chatter or discuss ideas. Sometimes, we don't even have the mental energy to log on. Both (and so much more) is okay! I never nag for a post, and never expect someone to post within a specific time frame.
If I haven't heard from you for a month, I'll poke to see if you're still interested, but it is never a demand for a post. I have waited months before for writing partners, and I'll extend that same courtesy to everyone!
STAWBS' FUN FACTS
- I often have such a flurry of ideas that my fingers struggle to keep up. My avatar is a little hamster wizard, because my brain feels like it's on a perpetual hamster wheel, churning out ideas. Sometimes they're magical, sometimes they're not.
- Australia is wider than the moon! (The moon is 3,400 kilometres in diameter, and Australia is just under 4,000 kilometres wide from the east to west coast.)
Thanks for taking the time to read this, and I hope to speak with some of you soon to craft a delicious tale!
