Novice hello hello!! sci-fi/cyberpunk writers where you at

hows it goin'! you can call me xeixei :^)

i found inner sanctum by needing a fresh breath of air. when i was younger, i frequented forums. eventually i swapped to social media and large platforms which kind of... made me feel drowned out? and alone?

but if i remember anything about forums, it felt pretty personal. like i was actually having an organic conversation with people. the pace is slower and easier to digest.

i thought forums were dead but... wow thank god i was wrong

i have been roleplaying for about 17 years now. i mostly roleplay with my husband, but i've been wanting to write with others. it's an amazing way to share creativity and meet people!

i have been working on a novel for almost a decade now! not much to show except for worldbuilding! i like to write cyberpunk and sci-fi! i also like to divulge in a lot of fiction pertaining to cyberpunk or sci-fi themes!! just watched Ergo Proxy the anime, along with the old french animated film Fantastic Planet!

i am a professional animator as well with only one client at the moment, but anyone who hires me knows im very story-oriented :^)

Second! I bet you're wondering how to start Role Playing and where to go! I think it's pretty fun to explore the forums, and I highly recommend doing so! Most thread homes, if not all, have a pinned post at the top of them to tell you what goes there!

However, the Request Threads are pretty self explanatory; Here's a Link! There's plenty to look through, but you could also build your very own! Tell people what you're all about and get those writing partners! Take your time though; there's never any pressure!
