Novice Hello, it is me

Hi there! I go by antibonetheft online, but you can call me bone or bones for short. I have been writing off and on since I was in elementary school. I credit RP forums and RP posting on older social media sites (anyone remember Google+?) for my passion for writing and storytelling in general. I took a long break from rp and writing due to the pressures of entering adulthood and the workforce, but I finally feel more motivated and I miss the creative outlet I used to have to make the days go by easier. I love collaborating on stories with people, and I feel that rp may help reigniting my passion for writing. I can't promise I'm still decent but hopefully I can improve once again.
I used to love rping adventure stories. Fantasy is always fun, but I also do really enjoy historical fiction, specifically having to do with ancient cultures (i.e. Greece, Rome, Mesopotamia). I also do enjoy horror aspects and I have been really getting into vampire and zombie lore recently, although I also really enjoy psychological horror but I don't think I'm skilled enough to write it yet. Of course, if you have a Slice of Life rp going on, I love coming up with random characters to play as. I am willing to do the research on most topics to try to portray my characters in your world accurately. I don't particuraly enjoy sexual rp with strangers, but willing to participate in stories with some relevant sexual aspects as long as its not too egregious (Romance is okay, but not necessary).
In terms of who I am. I am a nonbinary butch currently living in Pennsylvania (EST). I'm not so good at sharing details about myself so bear with me here. Speaking of, I do love bears; they are my favorite animal. I've currently got tattoos of every winner of Fat Bear Week. My favorite type of bear is the American Black Bear, because I used to go to Shenandoah National Park a lot when I was a child and it was the first species I ever saw in the wild. I also enjoy video games, currently go to games are Vampire Survivors and Paralives. I also love movies. My absolute favorite movie is Saved! (2005). The last director I watched through was Kevin Smith (favorite movie is Chasing Amy. I also loved his work on Degrassi, which seems to be a generally unpopular opinion among the fandom), and I'm currently trying to watch more Georgios Lanthimos movies (Bugonia is my next watch probably). Yes, I love vampires; no unfortunately I have not gotten around to watching the new adaptation of Nosferatu. I do also love pro-wrestling, specifically the indies. I have been to quite a few wrestling shows in person and that really got me into it. Specifically, there is a very gay wrestling promotion near me that I've been following for a couple years.

Second! I bet you're wondering how to start Role Playing and where to go! I think it's pretty fun to explore the forums, and I highly recommend doing so! Most thread homes, if not all, have a pinned post at the top of them to tell you what goes there!

However, the Request Threads are pretty self explanatory; Here's a Link! There's plenty to look through, but you could also build your very own! Tell people what you're all about and get those writing partners! Take your time though; there's never any pressure!
