Even though my user name shows whispering quill ~ let's call me M for the sake of this thread.
So I am 25+ roleplayer/writer with nearly a decade worth of experience in writing. Unlike many veteran writers my journey into RPing started via Reddit (the usual one liner) it was fun at the start but it never brought the satisfaction (for the lack of a better word here) with the writing. So after some probing around I found Tumblr and from Tumblr I ended up on Discord and have found myself a good few places and partners there. Through my probing around, I also started matching and picking up some EXCELLENT!!! writers. The more I read and roleplayed the better I became and now I fall somewhere in the Lit-Novella category (I coin the term 'Lazy-Lit' for myself though).
So for my writing preferences I generally tend to do something more detailed ~ while I can write a single paragraph of 6-7 PC lines to 10+ (breaking discord limit twice over)... the general amount of details and such depend on my partner who I am writing with, the muse I am indulging in and most importantly the storyline and the scene itself. Now a days I would say my sweet spot lies somewhere around 3-4 paragraphs but I am not intimidated by size so come at me with everything you have got.
For the themes ~ I generally prefer something more modern or medieval though I don't shy away from Sci-fi, period, Post-apocalypic, supernatural, fandom or even fantasy. I am okay with the plot being story centered with no smut and equally okay with it being smut centered with small bits of plot or story in there though once again I have to say that the sweet spot lies somewhere in 60:40 region... 60 for story obviously.
Another thing is that I use real or realistic photos and references for stuff in the roleplay ~ be it characters or locations or outfits. I am quite anti-AI when it comes to writing or using it for writing (Grammarly doesn't count) but for picture generation (especially outfits and such) I am quite... fine with it and actually use if myself alot. I am very much against Ghosting and very big on communication so always communicate rather than ghosting me. I understand muse dying and such and will never hold it against you as I would hope you wouldn't against me.
